Parkside Retreat - Walk to Hot Springs & Downtown

The Parkside Retreat is walking distance to all of Truth or Consequences favorite amenities. In the morning walk across the street to the large riverside park to get some exercise, do some bird watching, or visit the Farmer's Market. Next walk down the street to soak at Riverbend Hot Springs or any of the other hot spring resorts in town. In the afternoon walk downtown for some eclectic shopping opportunities and to grab a beer or craft cocktail at the brewery.

The Parkside Retreat is a cozy bungalow built in the 60s and has been thoughtfully upgraded and decorated with local art that represents the quaint vibe of our little town. It would make a perfect couples retreat.

KITCHENETTE includes a refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot and is stocked with basics for drinking, eating, and snacking. The unit does not have a stove and is not setup for cooking full meals.

A Primo water system is available that provides cold and hot bottled water on demand.

We stock the unit with fresh coffee, tea, and other light snacks for you to enjoy during your stay.

LIVING ROOM features a Smart TV where you can enjoy streaming from Netflix.

BEDROOM has a California king sized mattress with high quality cotton or bamboo linens and black out curtains to ensure a great night's sleep. There is a Smart TV in the bedroom setup for you to stream Netflix as well as phone charger outlets, and two luggage racks and closets to stow away your things.

FULL BATHROOM includes a shower/tub combo, vanity and plush towels. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer are provided. There are also large towels in the linen closet for you to use at the hot springs or the lake while visiting.

OUTDOOR SPACES The property is landscaped and offers a couple of cozy outdoor seating areas.
SECURITY CAMERA overlooking front door and parking area for your safety.
A dedicated HVAC unit allows you to set the temperature to your liking during you stay.

SMOKING is ONLY allowed outdoors - this includes cannabis and vaping. Please be responsible and dispose of extinguished butts in the outdoor trash receptacle. SMOKING or VAPING INSIDE will incur a $500 charge taken out of the security deposit.

No PETS are allowed, however, I have two dogs who will not be in your space. You may hear them bark occasionally -- especially if they hear you coming and going.

The home is next to a large park so you may hear children playing, music, and cars driving by.

You will have access to the entire guesthouse including the adjacent outdoor spaces. The guesthouse is attached to my primary residence, but it has a separate entry and separate off-street parking.
