Great house with swimmingpool and surrounding (quiet small town with fantastic beaches)
We (parents with 2 kids of 10 and 13 and a big dog) had great fun at Rakajl and in Vinko’s villa. It is a very quiet and small village bit some nice restaurants and a local small supermarket (surprisingly well filled with almost everything you need, also fresh bread in the morning). There are some really deserted beaches and small harbours within 5 mins drive. If you have a kayak, boat or sup you can really reach deserted bounty beaches (take water shoes with you as most beaches are pebbles). Snorkelling or diving is amazing!! You can also rent a small boat for 60 Euro a day. The touristic places like Pula and the very nice town of Rovinj are within 40 to 50 min drive.
The house is equipped with everything you need incl washing machine, stove and BBQ. The beds are good and 2 bathrooms is great!
Vinko is a really nice guy and was very attentive and showed us a bit around on the first day. If we had an issue we could always call him (even though we never needed it). We had a welcome meat and cheese plate which was enough for the first 5 to 6 days for breakfast (thanks again for that Vinko!!). We also got some local honey and marmalade when we left. All in all a very nice holiday in a great house, in a nice small town (if you prefer quiet against holiday resorts) close to the best beaches and driving distance from touristic sightseeing and shopping.
