Welcome to The Hike House, where you can walk from your front door to top Sedona hiking destinations! Nestled near the base of Sugarloaf Mountain, this 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home has room to roam, along with a grassy green fenced yard—a desert rarity! A+ location in West Sedona - walk to the local BREWERY, grocery stores, dining, theaters & shopping! Enjoy the chef's kitchen, cozy up on the comfy sectional, soak in views from the balcony while the kids play outside—it's all here waiting for you!

LIVING, DINING & KITCHEN

You and your traveling companions will have plenty of space to gather under the beamed cathedral ceilings of the open-concept living room, dining room and kitchen. An abundance of windows fill the space with natural light and provide views out to verdant greenery and Sugarloaf Mountain beyond.

This open flow of kitchen to dining to living room means everyone can gather to enjoy each other’s company, whether cooking, eating, watching a show or hanging out on the balcony connected to the living room through large glass doors. Note, there is also an additional TV viewing area in the room downstairs, that is open to the third bedroom if some are looking for a little space away from all the activity. The best of both worlds!

The remodeled kitchen is a true gourmet space with expansive quartz countertops, a professional gas 5-burner range, farmhouse sink, shaker style cabinetry and island with seating for four. Enjoy the bonus of a great flex space in the kitchen that features a separate bar/prep/storage area and includes a second fridge. There is plenty of room for multiple cooks in this kitchen, and all the gear that comes with a group of up to eight traveling together!

Bedroom 3: This bedroom has its own living area, kitchenette and private bathroom. The living area features a flat screen TV, two recliners, and an open area great for yoga, exercise or kid's play area. The kitchenette has its own refrigerator, microwave, and sink. This space has its own direct access to the outdoors through french doors. Please note that this bedroom does not does not have a privacy door.

OUTSIDE, DECK, PARKING

One of the only homes in the area with a fenced grass yard! Enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink from your Adirondack chairs on the balcony overlooking the front yard, with views up to Sugarloaf Mountain. Take in the scent of the climbing jasmine that winds up the juniper on the balcony. Watch the kids play basketball in the driveway. Steps away is the covered BBQ, so no one misses out on all the action, and relaxation! The large pavered driveway offers an abundance of parking for four cars.

There are SO many walkable trails from The Hike House. Whether you want an easy walk out into the magic of Sedona’s high country desert, or a more challenging hike up mountains or into the back country, you can get to it all right from the front door of The Hike House.

When you turn onto the cobblestone paved driveway and see the yard, grandaddy juniper, and enchanting balcony deck leading to the red front door of The Hike House, you’ve reached your ideal home away from home in the magic of Sedona’s high country. We hope to have the honor of hosting you!

The Hike House is located in Sedona's beloved Coffee Pot neighborhood. Ideally located in West Sedona, just up the road from Basha's Grocery. Coffeepot subdivision is located directly adjacent to Sugarloaf trailhead, one of Sedona's best trailheads for top hikes.

You will be staying in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of the neighbors :). You will be centrally located, and just a short walk or drive to many of the area's top attractions.

Rideshares like Uber or Lyft are rare in Sedona, but you can make use of public transit options.

Use the free Sedona park-and-ride shuttle to get to popular trailheads where parking is difficult. The Posse Grounds Park & Ride is a 5-minute drive from the home. Shuttles run year-round, Thursday thru Sunday.

Alternatively, the Sedona Shuttle Connect will transport you to and from any location within city limits (including this home). The cost is $2 per person, $1 for select groups, and free for children 5 and under. Download the TransLoc app to request a ride, Thursday thru Sunday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Violating any of the house rules can lead to your reservation being canceled immediately without a refund.

• We do not charge extra for additional guests. However, the number of guests staying MUST match the number of guests specified on the reservation. No unregistered guests are allowed on the property at any time.
• A maximum of two dogs are allowed. We are unable to accommodate any other pets including cats.
• No smoking or vaping inside or on property. Any evidence of these activities may incur a minimum $1,000 deep cleaning fee.
• We are unable to accommodate late check-out. Checking out after 10:00 AM will incur a $250 fee.
• Fires, candles, fireworks, and other open flames are prohibited
• No firearms allowed on property
• Do not move furniture
• Do not unplug, move, or tamper with electronic devices (WiFi, security system, locks, etc.)
• Parties, special events, and retreats are not allowed per City of Sedona local ordinance
• Minimum age to book a reservation is 25 years old. Additional guests may be younger.
• Guest making the reservation must have identity verified and provide a current phone number
• A $25 shipping and handling fee applies to items left behind

We are committed to complying with state and local regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete a guest verification process after booking.

You will receive an email and a text with a link to complete the verification. This process is completed by a third party company called Truvi. We do not see any of your private information.

Truvi will collect a non-refundable credit card authorization fee of $10. This allows them to collect reimbursement if damage is discovered after your stay, without having to actually hold a damage deposit.

Please be sure to complete this process WITHIN 24 HOURS of making your reservation. If the verification process is not completed, we cannot legally host you and we will be forced to cancel your reservation, potentially without a refund.
