Our stay at Peace House SF was an absolute dream! This 1890s Grand Victorian on Golden Gate Ave is a jaw-dropping masterpiece—pure luxury wrapped in historic charm. The 5,000 sq ft of opulent design, with 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, and 5 fireplaces, felt like stepping into a royal palace. The state-of-the-art kitchen opening to a serene zen garden was perfect for gourmet mornings, and the black dining room/library? A dramatic, unforgettable vibe for our group dinners! The movie theater was a total game-changer—cozy nights in felt like Hollywood premieres. Every corner screamed sophistication, from the plush furnishings to the eclectic, worldly decor. Steps from Golden Gate Park and vibrant NOPA, the location was unbeatable. We were obsessed—Peace House SF is a slice of paradise we’ll never forget!

Beautiful home in SF

Everything in this home was perfect for our stay in San Francisco. Great kitchen, plenty of bedrooms, and walking distance to restaurants, the Golden Gate Park, and shopping. We parked our car in the driveway and didn’t use it again until we left. Thank you. It was a privilege to stay in your home.

Fantastic location, real character

Celia and her assistant Elga made our stay fantastic. The house was beautiful (indoors and out - in the stunning garden!) with a dream kitchen and dining area as well as many distinct living spaces upstairs (almost every bathroom as at least its own half-bath, which made staying there as a family particularly lovely). The location was central to everything we wanted to do in San Francisco as a family.

Celia's house is nothing short of spectacular. It has plenty of bedrooms and living space. The space overall is very creative and inspiring. Kitchen is fully loaded which is always a plus. The bedrooms are all amazing and beautifully decorated. Plenty of bathrooms. Wifi is strong. Nice central location to all of SF.

Lovely Stylish Home

Enjoyed this beautiful home. World class 1890s era Victorian, fully and artfully modernized. Great cozy living areas with a kitchen to die for! Bedrooms had the best linens. Art and art literature abounded. Best for adults, and neighborhood is centrally located in the city, but parts of the area probably a little transitional. Highly recommend.

Magical Experience!!!

I can not write enough wonderful things about our experience at Celia’s home. Every room you walked into, had you in awe of how beautiful and thoughtful the decor was! The pictures surprisingly do not do the home justice. Not only is the home stunning, but the location was perfect and centrally located to everything. Spectacular Stay at Casa Celia

Business colleagues and I were in town for a conference and had the opportunity to rent this property during the week in early January. To say it is beautiful is an understatement. The owner has put a lot of her personality into the house, which is gorgeous and very functional (kitchen, for example, is set up for catering with multiple ovens/ranges and sinks). The location is great, just a few miles from downtown/financial district. Celia and the home's caretaker, Elga, were a delight to work with and very responsive. Can't recommend this property highly enough.
