Less than 3 Miles from South Haven Beach shopping and restaurants. Plenty of Water Sports options from fishing to kayaking to jet skis.
Nestled just into the country with a beautiful view of the stars by bonfire. 10 long acres of hiking, 1/2 Mile from Black River Preserve and Black River kayaking.
If you like animals feel free to visit our horses in the wooded pasture, or the chickens and barn cats that are closer to our house and pole barn.
Included is a microwave, small refrigerator, stove top, coffee machine, and toaster. Please check amenities list to know what to pack Ie. Towels, dishes…

This was just as advertised. It was an affordable option. The host was great! The camper was very clean. South Haven is a very nice beach town.

This was the worst place we've ever stayed in. The pictures are not what it looks like. The camper faces the back of their house, the back of the camper sits right up to a electric fence and the horse's poop was everywhere right there which means that brought Flys. We booked for 2 nights and we left as soon as we got up, less than 20 hours of being there. Found a nice hotel for less with more than 3 feet space to walk in it. These people should be ashamed of themselves for renting trash like this. We live in the country and I promise our place is nothing like this.

As can be seen by the other reviews this person is being dishonest. They did ask to upgrade to our other listing and it wasn’t available so I’ll have to surmise this is retaliation. They also complained after they left about the size of the camper, although the photos show the size. Regarding our hobby farm the horses are fed out far from the campers, and there was mud from rain in the pasture near them so maybe they were confused regarding horses messes. We had not noticed flies but it is the country and possible and we would’ve been happy to address any concerns had they brought them up. Sadly they violated many rules including smoking, and checkout instructions and by the time they left it was trashed, disgusting and foul smelling. As far as the distance from our house it’s about 70 yards away and trees and pond grass make iit a comfortable distance for our guests although the listing makes it clear this is our hobby farm not just an empty plot of land.

Perfect way to enjoy a quiet spot in the country, but be minutes from town, restaurants and wonderful beaches on Lake Michigan. Oh and a gorgeous nature preserve practically across the street. The camper had everything I wanted: heat/air conditioning, wifi, microwave, frig and a toilet w/shower. The dining table/bed cushions were surprisingly comfy, campfire option right outside your door, but that pond- so soothing to hear splashing water. My favorite part: roosters/chickens greeting you in the morning and frogs croaking you to sleep at night. Host is close by, so I felt safe staying there alone. I'll be back next spring!

Host was welcoming, everything was as expected at this adorable RV. It was very quiet and relaxing even with the pretty animals! So much fun seeing the different types of chickens. The host brought us carrots for the horses too! Friendly barn cats were hanging out too. Far enough back on the property for some privacy, beautiful scenery, and so close to South Haven beach. Couldn’t have had a better stay.

Nice quiet spot

Even with the roosters and other animals it was super quiet. Nice set up for just two people. It was me and my husband and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Highly recommend this little spot for a nice weekend for two.

We loved our stay and it was perfect for just the two of us. My husband is 6’4 and was comfortable in the camper. Vince & Carrie are wonderful hosts, and we would gladly stay again. Goose, the orange kitty, was an adorable camper guardian/security .

Lovely spot, felt private enough and clean. The hosts are so sweet! We were a bit cramped due to being stuck inside because of rain, but it’s super cute. You get the full hobby-farm experience with a rooster alarm!

The location was great for accessing many of the highlights of the area, especially the lake. The residence was just right for 1, and it was charming to be able to visit the farm animals. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There was a glitch with the power one night, but the hosts were super responsive and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay.
