The house was perfect for our family! Host was very communicative and friendly. We were traveling with elderly family members and the home was easy for them to navigate and the lake was easy to walk down to.

I can’t say enough good things about this property and the property manager. We chose this place to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. I wanted somewhere she could see the water from the home and this home delivered the views! It was also very easy for her to navigate. There was plenty of space and the home design was clearly planned by someone very thoughtful. Lindsay communicated regularly and quickly, and she helped make my mother’s birthday even more special by connecting us with the local bakery (Open Door - delicious!). The home was immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated. 7 of us are happy! We would definitely stay again and we highly recommend to anyone considering staying. Thank you to Lindsay!

If you are reading this review, and wondering whether you should pick this house or one of the other lake house rentals to which you have narrowed down your search- stop looking! You just found the perfect Lake Hartwell vacation rental. “Southern comfort Cove“ is a perfect blend of thoughtfully appointed amenities, convenient location, and a spacious layout, designed with family entertainment in mind. A short, flat, paved walkway to the newly refurbished covered boat dock with synthetic decking, is both a rare and convenient find. The home is new construction. Everything is fresh, quality, and extremely well executed. Whether it’s the make-up towels in each bathroom or the full bar in the basement, complete with barstools and a foosball table, this vacation home does not disappoint. Reserve Southern Comfort Cove today and enjoy the memories you will make there for a lifetime, just like my family did.

It is an incredibly peaceful spot on lake Hartwell, tucked away in a deep water cove. The neighbors are great, and the house is perfect for our family and for our guests. It is fun and relaxing.

This property is brand new, but has that lake/cabin feel. It is beautifully designed and decorated and, and is a comfortable home away from home. The thing that really makes this property stand out is that flat, easy walk out to the lake and the private dock that has just recently been refurbished.
