Very easy check-in process, great communication about parking and door codes. Clean, comfortable, well appointed condo. Bed was great. Pull out couch was good quality. Parking was easy, we appreciated using the EV charger in the garage. And the hot tubs were a hit!

Nice stay at the lake.

This is close to everything we wanted to do and the property is very well maintained. All information was promptly emailed to us and we had a smooth stay!

Great location, underground parking and quiet.

This condo was perfect for a quick getaway. It is in a great location to the highway, quiet complex, and has a comfy bed. The only downside was that the closest grocery store and restaurants are about 10 minutes away in Park City. We would stay here again.

Great Location

We had an excellent stay. The unit was well equipped and clean. The amenities were a bonus. The location to the Jordanelle Gondola at Deer Valley was amazingly convient.

Deer Valley condo

Great location, suite was fully stocked, clean, comfortable and easy to park with underground garage. Could use some new bedding, pillows, blankets and reset of hot tub timers to avoid long delays from jets.

Thanks for staying and for the feedback. We'll certainly check and replace an linens that have wear and are glad to hear all was clean and comfortable. With commercial in ground hot tubs, the pump is not part of the system and it does take a minute for the pressure to build and the pump to send the air. This is very standard. We're glad you enjoyed your stay.

Good value

Stillwater is a nice property in a beautiful location. The short drive is closer to Park City than Kimball junction. It is a good value for a nice condo. Our only wish is that there had been some knives in the kitchen! It’s hard to cook without them!

Great for the money and close to the lifts at Deer Valley.

The room itself was very nice. The lodge itself was older and not as nice. I was disappointed that the game room was horrible. It charged money to play ping pong and pool etc. so the kids didn’t end up playing anything. The air hockey table was tilted. Just overall…the property was dated and in need or repair. Howveer, our specific condo itself was very nice and the description accurate. So I still give it a 5/5 given it’s cheap price and proximity to the lifts (which were only like a 2 min drive).

Great location, great view and bargain priced.

Comfortable, conveniently located and reasonably priced. Comfortable bed and bedding, plenty of towels. No problem with internet or TV. A bit worn, carpet stains, one of the door locks didn't work. Newish refrigerator didn't have water or icemaker connected (thanks for the ice cube trays). Confusion about how the laundry "app" works; bring lots of quarters. As a previous hotel property, lobby was nice; would have been great to have a coffee shop or bar there.

Thanks for staying with us, Martha. The Prospector Lodge is not a hotel, it never has been. It's a condo complex and as such, does not have a front desk or anything of that nature. This privately-owned condo is a great place for a winter or summer retreat. The laundry facilities on each floor are coin-operated, which we advertise. The water/ice maker are turned off as the system breaks during times when we don't have guests (the ice builds up and causes a dam, which breaks the system and is quite expensive to fix). Being right cross from the Deer Valley Gondola, ski access is very easy and we're happy you enjoyed your trip. Thanks again for staying with us!

Great location

Property was very clean and the proximity to the highway was excellent. We had beautiful Mountain Views of Mayflower/Deer Valley. Check in process was smooth. We had trouble locating the garage due to coming in at night and in a snowstorm (no fault of anyone’s), but eventually found it and was smooth from there. The final night we had to contact property management due to a very strong smell of something melting coming from the vents. They were quick to reply but it smelled through the night and into the morning. Ended up opening a window to allow fresh air in. Not sure what it was? Overall an excellent stay and we would stay again!

If you’re ok with it not being in Park City

Rented this condo for a little get away to Park City, I knew the place wasn’t in Park City but it’s really near nothing. No restaurants, bars, anything. If you’re ok with that then this place is ok. The check in was a little rough as no garage codes or door codes were ever sent to me. The property management were superb and were quick to respond. The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows, remote for the tv did not operate the volume so we rarely used the tv. I’m sure this is the place to stay during ski season but next time I’ll stay closer to Park City. Place was super clean and all the appliances work to perfection. Needs more pots/pans and dishes. Other than that the place is ok if you don’t mind staying about 10 min from Park City.

We're glad you stayed with us, Mykel. We clearly advertise the Stillwater Lodge is a 10 minute drive from town. It's in a beautiful area, less than a mile from the Jordanelle Reservoir, with boating, swimming, and wave runner rentals. It's also across the highway from the Deer Valley Gondola, which you can ride for free up over the mountain and down to the Deer Valley Resort restaurant activities. Stillwater has a gorgeous pool, three hot tubs, a game room, a fitness center, and plenty of gorgeous views. We actually sent you codes and directions 30 days prior to your stay and resent them 48 hours prior to your stay. We hope you stay with us again in the future.

Nice place, good 3 day weekend

We liked the place we stayed in as we have stayed at the Lodges at Stillwater before and it is familiar and convenient. This place was as good as any, but it seems that since they have gotten rid of the management of the overall complex this has turned into a no-frills location. At one point there was a restaurant which provided some added benefit (especially since there are few restaurants, amenities, or even gas stations in a close proximity). There also used to be a place to go downstairs to get coffee and that is no longer provided. It feels that since the owners have taken individual ownership vs. having people in charge of the management, that everything is sparse, and guests seem to be nickeled and dimed for any additional request. This isn't specific to this condo, but all of them at the Lodges of Stillwater. Now the gondola is very populated instead of being the "hidden secret" so these locations seem to be losing their appeal. The condo itself was clean, comfortable and convenient for skiing though, and it's always fun to stay there. It is also nice to have a heated parking garage. Moving forward, we will probably search for a condo that is closer to Heber or Park City so we have better access to dining and other attractions.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay! We were happy to return the ring that was left behind as well. We don't manage the Stillwater Lodge. We only manage this specific condo. We have no control over anything at the lodge. The restaurant hasn't been in the lodge for YEARS. It was made into private condos a long time ago. We feel like you left a three-star review based on the lodge, but we don't manage the lodge. The condo itself WAS clean and nice, just like you stated in your review. Since this review is about our company and that condo specifically, we would have appreciated more stars since your complaints have nothing to do with our company. We hope you enjoy your next stay at this condo at the end of March. Thank you!

Overall the stay was acceptable but not outstanding. The unit was reasonably clean but had an odd odor. In addition there were no adjustment rods on the vertical blinds in the living room and the bedroom and both were open. We conveyed this to Moose Management and were told we would be provided some - we never received them. In addition the balcony had a resident pigeon so the corner of the balcony flooring and the railing had 3-5 inches of piled up excrement. We also notified Moose Management of this issue and were told that was an issue for property maintenance and essentially nothing would be done. We did not use the balcony due to this. Finally, after we left we received an email offering $10.00 Amazon gift card for an all 5 star review and if we didn't feel it was all 5 star we needed to message Moose Management privately. We didn't care for this attempt to buy a good review especially since we brought up issues during our stay and nothing was done.

We regret your stay was not perfect. We did send a handyman to replace the blind openers. We also requested that the balcony be cleaned. This is a special service provided by the HOA management. In a mountain home, there are birds and other creatures that make their homes close by. The HOA does clean balconies regularly and when requested. These were minor inconveniences that were taken care of and, because of this, we had hoped you stay was much better. We offered a gift card to take the time to post a review, not to buy a review. The Stillwater Lodge is an amazing place to stay! It is 3 minutes to either the Deer Valley Ski Gondola or the Jordanelle Lake, it has three hot tubs, a pool, a game room and an on site ski rental shop. Many happy guests are hosted here! We wish you all the best in your future travels.

Nice but can only sleep 2 people.

Clean and updated but pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable that decided to just slept on couch so very disappointed. Also toaster and tv in bedroom doesn’t work and no property management available on weekends to help fix.

We are very sorry to see a 3-star review for a misunderstanding. We agree that the sleeper sofa is terrible which is why we don't advertise it as a sleeping option for this home. There is a super comfortable luxury raised self-inflatable queen air bed for guest use as noted in all of the advertising. The TV in the bedroom was just on the incorrect input setting and our staff is available from 9am to 9pm, 7 days per week. We never had a call, text or email to request any assistance. We would have been happy to direct you to the air bed for comfort, to instruct on how to change the TV input (instructions also in the guest book) and help with repair or replacement of the toaster. We have hosted many happy guests in this top floor condo with a King bed, amazing views and so much more and we look forward to hosting many more.

Neglected and convenient to Gondola

As a patient person, I can understand when I first walk into a property and see a plumbing explosion in the bathroom that it just requires a plumber to be called and fixed. I can understand that sometimes the cleaning lady doesn't really do a great job, and there are still dirty dishes that have been put away, folded towels hanging that are still dirty, stained carpet throughout the property, and used contact lenses still on the bedside table. I can even understand why they disconnected the Dish Network box, so that the owners don't have to pay for it any more. However, if those things bother you and you prefer to stay somewhere that the owners have stopped caring about and simply want to collect a return on their investment, then don't stay here. If you think that a fair recourse would be to calmly and respectfully request that the cleaning fee be refunded since the property was definitely not clean and are denied, then I wouldn't stay here. If you think that TVs should allow you to watch basic programming, like the Olympics, and instead you are told that you can just watch it on your phone by the property management, then don't stay here.

READER BEWARE: We're so sorry to see such a terrible review for such a lovely home. This guest was a lot of trouble. There was a building plumbing issue that was in the process of being resolved when the guest checked in. It affected a few condos, none of which guests were not understanding and considerate. The home has DIRECTV and that service is provided by the HOA and was not disconnected. The guest wanted Roku (not advertised for this home) and was quite belligerent about the home not having Roku. The home was cleaned by a professional cleaning company that submits reports with photos and the linens are towels are laundered by a professional service. The home was clean and in good condition. This guest was, unfortunately, a very unhappy person and we continued down a rabbit hole of complaints during the stay. We would not choose to host this guest again but do wish them all the best in their future travels.
