As a patient person, I can understand when I first walk into a property and see a plumbing explosion in the bathroom that it just requires a plumber to be called and fixed. I can understand that sometimes the cleaning lady doesn't really do a great job, and there are still dirty dishes that have been put away, folded towels hanging that are still dirty, stained carpet throughout the property, and used contact lenses still on the bedside table. I can even understand why they disconnected the Dish Network box, so that the owners don't have to pay for it any more.
However, if those things bother you and you prefer to stay somewhere that the owners have stopped caring about and simply want to collect a return on their investment, then don't stay here. If you think that a fair recourse would be to calmly and respectfully request that the cleaning fee be refunded since the property was definitely not clean and are denied, then I wouldn't stay here. If you think that TVs should allow you to watch basic programming, like the Olympics, and instead you are told that you can just watch it on your phone by the property management, then don't stay here.
