We had a group of 10 staying here for the weekend. Everyone loved the location so much that instead of sticking to our dinner plans for Saturday night the decision was made to grab pizza and eat on the deck. Great location, cabin and host!

This home is beautiful and so very comfortable. There were 8 of us and everyone had a space for relaxing and sleeping. The property offers lots of activities and we took advantage. My husband was especially excited about the really large TVs and it made watching the World Cup matches a lot more enjoyable. It was a wonderful experience and thank you for making our family vacation memorable. We’re definitely planning a return visit next summer.

I can't say enough about this house. Spacious house and yard, such a beautiful location. The house was so well stocked, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, all the way to the outside games for the kids. This was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The ease of communication with our host helped contibute to that. They were very responsive and have answered every email within minutes of us sending it. We spent some time on the boat ramp that is just down the road and met some of the locals. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely book this house again. 10/10 recommend.

This is simply a perfect fishing cabin. Easy access to the River. The house is dedicated to the fisherman with plenty of fishing memorabilia. It is large and allows everyone space to unwind, but then meet again on the patio for memorable views of the water.

The Rim Shoals Cabin was awesome! The hosts went above and beyond to provide a warm, comfortable and beautiful experience! From the moment we walked in everyone (18 mos to 60 years) felt how special this place was! It was clean, welcoming and impeccably decorated. When we called the host for help, they were friendly and helpful. The dock was great for the kids to fish off of and the fence added some safety for the little ones! We hope to stay here again!!!

Plenty of space inside and out! Very good. Very Good accommodations and provided supplies nice touch. Easy check in / check out and good communication. The dock and deck was spacious with plenty of seating and umbrellas and grills. Plenty of towels provided water was hot. Large refrigerator. WiFi and cell service was very spotty in this area ( not a cabin issue!). Router went out one night for a few hours. But in general we had okay WiFi and TV service at night. I’d recommend this property and location.

Truth & Trout 2025

This property was perfect for our group. We had six 13-15 year old boys along with three adults from a mission based organization called Faith Excursions For Everyone where we spread the Gospel of Jesus through outdoor excursions. The basement was PERFECT for the 6 kids to sleep in and each staff had their own room. The campfire area was just what we needed for our evening devotional time and the large yard was great for yard games. Being right on the river made our daily float trips easily and convenient and the kids enjoyed fishing from the docks when they weren’t on the drift boat. Can’t wait to stay again.

We were on a family trip with our 4 kids ages 6-14 and grandparents. The house is well stocked, linens were wonderful, kitchen is WELL STOCKED, and the basement bunk area was fantastic for the kids. My husband and I loved the master suite which takes up the whole second floor. The private dock was super handy to get in and out of our kayaks and floats. Amenities such as sunscreen and well labeled drawers were super handy. Karen was super communicative. It’s a steep walk to the dock and there are stairs down the hill, but if you have knee or back issues, it might be a challenge.

Rim Shoals Vacation

This location was perfect for our party of 11. Room in the basement for the kids to play. The dock was great for fishing with the kids and perfect for taking out our kayaks for floats on the White River. We lit up the fire pit and watched the fog roll onto the river, which is heavy in the summer months when its hot. We ran up to Wild Cat public access and kayak floated back to the house one afternoon. Another day we floated down river and took out at Buffalo City public access. This location is perfect if you are looking to spend a lot of time on the water, and not a lot of time driving. Karin is a great host! Thank you!!

There was one small issue with a residual odor from an animal infestation that had already been handled. I was made aware of this in advance and given a chance to cancel or change dates, but that was not an option for me. So I went in with eyes open. The odor improved during the stay and I imagine will completely resolve after a few more days. The beds were quite comfortable. The AC units worked well to keep us comfortable and a dehumidifier was a nice touch that probably helped with the odor issue. The Wifi was screaming fast and was more than enough for phones (no cell signal for me inside the hosue) and streaming television. There are two large televisions with comfortable seating around each. I had hoped that there would be wade fishing available off the back of the property, but the bank is too steep and inaccessible. However, just 1/4 mile down the road is an area where one can try, albeit right by a ramp. The dock on the property will allow for spin fishing, but is not an option for swinging. Overall a very nice place and I'd certainly stay again sometime.

We are from Arkansas, my daughter and I love everything outdoors and especially trout fishing for me is so much more than fishing. It is connecting with nature and seeing the abundance of Bald Eagles each day along with the sounds of the rippling shoals, and landing the beautiful Rainbow Trout is the ending to a perfect dayl
