A gothic door from the great hall gives onto an enclosed courtyard clad with wisteria and roses.

Under a Dutch chandelier and Italian C17th theater hangings, you can dine at the impressive refectory table, and alongside it, an antique Knole sofa is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book and a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire.
A spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine level with an Italian Baroque King size bed.
Note: There is a privacy curtain here but no doors due to the historic nature of this listed building; we are unable to modify this.
We strongly advise guests, particularly those with mobility issues, the elderly, or families, to carefully consider this, before booking.
The spiral staircase may not be suitable for everyone, and we want to ensure that all our guests have a safe and comfortable stay.
The oak-paneled room beyond has an open log fire, with more seating for cosy evenings, watching films or just enjoying the open fire.
This room has an original Elizabethan bed, complete with silk hangings.This is a superking size.
Behind the paneling there is a small study with an antique desk, should you need to work.
An American-style fridge is set up, with an ice maker for your drinks.
There is a modern galley kitchen complete with everything you might need: a DeLonghi coffee machine, electric hob, oven, toaster, kettle, and fridge.
There is one bathroom with a walk- in rainfall shower. basin and WC.
The last bedroom has another four-poster ,super king size, and a rolltop bath in front of a pair of antique Flemish doors.
Wonderfull walks from the door and 2 local pubs a minute's stroll away.
Guest access
You may park in the 2 allotted parking spots in the yard.
Access to the property is through the courtyard to the arched door into the Great hall.
The enclosed courtyard is for your use during your stay.
