Our Favorite VRBO Ever

2-14 March 2025. We almost hesitate to provide a review, cuz we selfishly don't want to jeopardize availability for our future return. A Ratings for Size, Comfort, Cleanliness, Class, Location, Proximity to Restaurants & Stores, Neighborhood, Yard, Garage, Size, Flow, Design, Master Hot Tub, Furnishings, Decor, TVs, Appliances, Accessories, All Three Bedrooms with Accompanying Bathrooms, POOL TABLE, CANAL & DOCK, OUTSIDE HOT TUB, POOL. ETC., ETC. Responsive, Personable, Accessible & Overall Wonderful Hosts. Several Really Good Places to Eat within a half mile. Weather was near perfect. The horrible traffic everybody warned us about never materialized. We celebrated two important events during our stay, My Wife's 71st Birthday & My Decision to Retire at the end of the year as I relaxed with morning coffee on the Dock. Oh yah, Hosts Neil & Keely have Really Cool EastSide London Accents. Twelve glorious days blew by in what seemed to be a heartbeat before we were forced back to the Minnesota Winter. We'll definitely be back, assuming Owners will have us.

always a good trip

We've stayed at this particular house 3 times now. Each time is wonderful. Only bad thing this trip was a diverter valve on the pool went out day 2, but it was fixed in 48 hours and we were back in business. Clean, comfortable, relaxing.

Great property that was clean and well kept in a great neighborhood. All questions to property managers were prompt and thorough. If you're planning a trip to SW Florida you should consider this home!

Excellent time in Cape Coral

We all had such a great week at this wonderful place! Super clean, very spacious, relaxing pool area, and great views from the canal. They even have beach supplies and fishing gear in the garage as well as floats for the pool. I would definitely rent here again! One small heads up, dont have anything sent via US mail to the house while youre there, it will get returned! 😬 Overall five stars!

Clean and beautiful property

I stayed here with my family and we had a fantastic time. Let me start by saying the property managers, Keely and Neil are the nicest people and always respond quickly. It helped so much to have such attentive property managers to communicate with. Check in was super easy, as I was emailed prior to arriving with all of the details and key code. The property was very clean throughout. I loved that there were plenty of extra towels and they stocked the property with all of the little things that are so helpful like hand soap, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. There are NO hidden fees (like some other vacation homes in the area) such as electricity or water charges, which I was so glad for. We fished off the dock and caught all sorts of fish, even a stingray. Everything here was perfect for our stay! There is a small Walmart about a mile away which is also super convenient. I will definitely recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay at the property. There is NOTHING that you could want for. Down to every little detail. The book they leave for you has absolutely every detail about the property. We would definitely refer this property to everyone with kids or not. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy. 😊

Great home-Pool area needs cleaned

The home is immaculate and exactly as described. We enjoyed the pool table and home very much. The pool upon arrival was covered with bugs laying on top and bottom of the pool. The water and pool system is only on from 9-5 so the water lays stagnant. Management when contacted was responsive but we were told that all homes in Florida look like this (not true; we have NEVER experienced this in the 5 years we have visited Florida/Cape Coral religiously). The bugs are not being taken into the skimmer —they float right by it. The pool company did come out and we were again told it was the weather; they fall in from the top of the pool cage; and it was Florida. At that point we let it go as we were tired of hearing the same thing. The pool area in general is covered in dead bugs and needs pressure washed. It’s just not clean. I would stay in the home again but cannot recommend the pool unless you don’t mind skimming the pool yourselves nonstop while you are on vacation. I do not like to leave negative comments. However I feel that when you pay the amount you do for a vacation rental such as this you should be honest so others know what you personally face. Again- management was responsive quickly but wouldn’t budge. You are directly on a canal and there are a lot of trees next to the pool; this could be the problem along with the pool not running more than 8 hours a day to accommodate for the abundance of bugs if it truly is a “Florida” thing.

Another wonderful stay!

Pictures for this home does not do it justice, it's beautiful and has any and everything you could need for lounging there or going to the beach! Tons of linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, lots of movies, books, pool toys the list goes on and on! I have used vrbo quite a few times and this particular management team is hands down the best! Grandkids are already asking if we will be back next year! We hope to be :)

Wonderful family vacation!

We had a nice time during our stay. The house was clean and well cared for. It was well stocked with everything you would need. We all enjoyed the pool, hot tub and lanai area. We would definitely recommend staying there. The property managers were very kind and always responded quickly with any questions or concerns. Highly recommend!

Nice fall vacation place

The house was a lovely vacation home. The home was exactly as described. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We would choose this property again. One suggestion: update the instruction manuals for the pool heater and the Bose sound system. They are both a little outdated.

We enjoyed this house very much so. We had everything we needed and spent a lot of time using the pool table as a family. We were minutes from things to do.

Beware !!!!

My review is going to be based on my experience with churchill property services which is the property manager for this house. There is a lack of respect for other people’s belonging. I accidentally left a bag that had a sentimental value for me and for my daughter, next to the towels that I had even washed and folded for them which I did out of curtesy. Got in contact with keely and Niel to see if the cleaning company had turned in my bag. In return Niel tells me that the cleaning company that they use thought that it was deliberately left behind. Which in return they supposedly turned in to a local thrift store. don’t doubt that there are people who deliberately discard there items, but let’s be honest I’m sure that if one of their guest left behind a Rolex watch the cleaning contractor that they used would not have taken it to a thrift store. The least that should’ve been done was to attempt to send an email with a 24 to 48 hours notice to let the guest know that there was an item left behind and if at that point there was no response then discard them or the cleaning crew stays with the item, which in my opinion is what occurred in this situation. Even in a hotel that there is hundreds of guest they have the courtesy to hold your items in a lost and found department. I’m extremely upset at the lack of respect for other peoples belongings and under no means I’m a holding anybody accountable for me leaving it behind at this point it was more of a right thing to do.

Beautiful and Comfortable Home!!!

The house was exactly like it was listed, no bad surprises. So beautiful and comfortable with all the amenities that you need for a wonderful stay. Sure, it wasn’t in Fort Myers or the beaches but we liked the location. Great restaurant (Lobster Lady) or two, nearby (5 mins) plus one of the best rated ice cream shop, The Creamery! We would absolutely stay there again!!!
