We had a fantastic vacation with the family at this property. Location -awesome . Property was very nice and was perfect for a family. Everyone had their own space yet there were common areas for gathering . ( that pool!!!) The owner was very responsive and the small issues we had were addressed - the house had many amenities and the owner put much thought into what her guests may need /want during their stay. Pro tip- avoid Publix . Head to Aldis and Farmer Joes Sabrina Thank you for a great vacation and many memories we made throughout the week.

Wonderful retreat

We found the property to be exactly what the listing offered. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor space to the fullest. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed utensils, cookware, and the ice maker kept up with us all week. The house is located close to anything you could possibly want or need. The owner of the property was lovely to work with and extremely responsive. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Great outdoor area

We loved the house and outdoor pool area. Great house with everything we needed. Great kitchen and the outdoor grill was great. Loved the southern exposer. Great TV’s and Wi-FI music in and outside. The beds were all comfortable. We would definitely stay in this house again. Easy check in and check out.

Perfect time away

Outstanding!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our family & friends who visited were impressed. The home is very well appointed, incredibly clean and had EVERYTHING you could want or need. Lovely location, quiet neighborhood and away from the hustle of downtown yet close enough to do anything - or nothing! We are looking forward to returning next year!

Wonderful Vacation House

We were four writers who wanted a peaceful, beautiful setting to work on manuscripts and talk about our craft. This house was perfect. Close to restaurants and a grocery store, quiet neighborhood, refreshing pool, and all the amenities that you need in a vacation house. We would love to return.

Great Vacation in a Wonderful House

Villa Harriet is a beautiful house in a very nice location on a canal. The house has a very well equipped kitchen with a lot of pots and pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, etc. The bathrooms have a good supply of towels. The heated pool is wonderful. Our family, which includes our son, daughter-in-law and 4 grandchildren, had a wonderful vacation here. With 2 master bedrooms and 2 additional bedrooms, there was plenty of room for all of us. We had a really great week there.

Fun in the Sun

The house as expected and listed. Clean and well outfitted. We only missed having a pantry. Wifi was a little challenging at times, probably due to storm damage in area. The house was perfect. Sabrina is a joy to rent from.

Great stay at a high quality, renovated 4 bedroom home! Southern exposure a plus!!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. We have three small kids and they had a great time in the home and pool - the southern exposure and the sun all day were a huge plus. On Demand tv was also appreciated for the kids. The floors throughout the home were high quality, the bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate, and we found more than expected utensils in the kitchen. We very much enjoyed this home and would highly recommend it to other families, with and without children. The property manger, Harold, was very accommodating and pleasant. Thank you Villa Harriet for a great stay!

A slice of paradise

Villa Harriet is the best villa we have stayed at in all the years we have visited Florida. The villa is exactly as listed and the photographs don't do it justice. The pool is fantastic and outdoor area very relaxing, both daytime and nighttime. Movies on the big screen in the living room of a night. Publix is a short 5 minute drive away for groceries. We really did not want to leave! Sabrina was fantastic throughout the booking and very quick answering any questions I had. Micheal was was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, a great family holiday long overdue. Hopefully we make it back next year!! 😁

Nice House & Location, Communication...not so much.

The home was beautiful, the price was fair and the location was perfect. However, having to set up an appointment at the property managers convenience was hard when we wanted to get out and enjoy our vacation. A check-in and checkout appointment was mandatory. I would say the fact that there was a language barrier between myself and the owner and the fact that the property managers were hard to work with, was the only thing that really put a damper on our stay in this home. Everything you would need for a trip to the beach was provided in the garage, but there was a lack of toilet paper and paper towels. Also, I’ve never stayed in a rental where I had to pay for electricity, but our stay was only for three nights, so it wasn’t awful. Overall, the house was perfect. However, I don’t think that I would stay in this rental again.

Home away from home!

This is a beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. The home has everything you would need for a great vacation. We were definitely happy with the accommodations and the owners and property manager were very helpful in answering any questions we had. Such a beautiful lanai with a crystal clear pool and a gas grill made evening suppers so relaxing. There was plenty of cooking utensils and other guests had left some spices so there were also those available for our BBQ. Washer and dryer in the home is a plus so you can pack light. Enjoyed kayaking around the canal with the kayaks available. Also used the beach chairs and beach towels provided on a trip to Captiva. There is nothing negative to say about this property or the people who own and manage it. There is everything you need in this home for a good time. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be booking next year. The only negative thing I would say is that the living room furniture is not very comfortable for relaxing on. With that being said, with all there is to do in Southwest Florida, who wants to sit around on the couch!

Beautiful vacation at Harriette

Where can we start.. staying at the Harriette is a wonderful vacation. This was our second year renting from Sabrina and she is the best Host we have ever had. She is always in touch with you and if any problems the property manager Michael is prompt and wonderful to attend to any questions or issues. We stay for 6 weeks when we rent. Her home makes you feel comfortable as if it were your own home. The beds are all very comfortable. The house is very neat and clean. The pool is magnificent and always kept warm with a view of palm trees and the canal and in the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the dock with a drink watching the beautiful sunsets. Very quiet neighbourhood which brought peace and tranquility to our vacation. Close to lots of great restaurants, publix, pharmacy and the Saturday Farmers market which is a must to go. We were able to have our boat right at the dock to enjoy the waters of Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Fort Myers beach, Sanibel and even lovers key beach! Saw many dolphins on our boat travels. Sabrina has beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach toys and kayaks available in the garage. If you want to rent a boat, Mike from Cape Coral Charter Boats is the guy to go to. He is fantastic and will deliver the boat right to your dock. He can supply fishing rods and cooler. Sabrina has all his info if you wish to do so. The kitchen is very well stocked. Thank you Sabrina for giving us wonderful memories. Book now so you won't be disappointed. You'll love it!

Perfect Vacation

My husband and I stayed at beautiful Villa Harriett in Cape Coral from March 4 - April 1 2023. We stayed for 4 weeks and enjoyed every minute. From the day we arrived Sabrina was in contact with us to make sure we were comfortable and if there was anything we needed that may have been missed. Michael the property manager arrived promptly the next day to make sure all was well and if we had any questions. Michael was also a phone call or text away if we needed him. The home is very clean and well equipped. I love that previous renters left extra toilet paper, paper towel, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, some spices, and even coffee behind to help the next renter get started before we had to run out to the grocery store. We paid it forward and made sure the renter after us would be pleasantly surprised as well upon their arrival. We were able to rent our boat from Mike at Cape Coral Charter Boats. He delivered it to our dock on time as promised and was excellent with any communication that may have been required. Definitely rent from Mike if you are into having a boat to enjoy! The home is located in a great area close to all grocery, drugstore, shopping and restaurants. The neighbourhood is very quiet. The pool is so lovely and enjoyable floating around sipping a cool cocktail overlooking the canal. The sunsets are gorgeous! I could go on forever about how perfect our stay was. Thank you Sabrina for sharing your home with us and being the best Host we could ever ask for! We are coming back for sure! its already booked! :)

Bugs! Bad customer service

The house while beautiful has roaches and pharaoh ants and little black bugs. It made what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable vacation stressful. We found them on the morning of our first full day, Tuesday Dec 17th. Petra the property manager from Positive Action Services called for an exterminator who came on the 18th. Treated the grass and put bait out in the house. We continued to see roaches of all sizes, even during the day. The counter, towel basket and pots and pans had roach droppings in them. Had to clean the counters off every time we wanted to cook which became less the more we saw the bugs. We were dismissed in our disgust even accused by Petra that we brought the roaches in. We took pictures and documented all the bugs. Petra told us that the house is treated every 4 weeks yet could provide no proof other than the treatment while we were there, telling us it was probably treated. The owner was notified but we were told by Petra that there would be no compensation other than the credit for electricity. The owner would not do anything further. Any food we bought that was out on the counters had to be thrown out. We had to buy ziplocs and store everything in them. We all woke up every morning with bug bites having gone to bed with none. We washed all the sheets and all our clothes and bagged them up.

Excellent getaway spot

Our group of six enjoyed our Covid-19 getaway stay in Cape Coral at the Villa Harriet. This is a lovely house in a really nice location. The house is outfitted with all the modern amenities, kitchen supplies, as well as a pool table, beach chairs, 3 kayaks, and of course a pool. We rented a boat through Cape Coral Charter Boats who delivered the 20’ Yamaha Jet Boat to the dock in advance, making it easy for us. We made our way through the canals to the Caloosahatchee River and out to Sanibel Island beach one day and North Captiva Island the next. While most aspects of our visit were positive, there were a few little things that bothered us and one bigger thing. First the little things. We were disappointed to find that there was no dish soap and only one dishwasher pod supplied. We were also surprised to find that there were no bath soaps or shampoos supplied – not always provided by all Vrbo’s and AirBnBs of course - but a nice touch when these little touches are considered. A quick trip to the local Publix around the corner easily fixed these things. Now the bigger issue. The morning after our arrival, the property manager came to the house to orient us and was not wearing a face covering. We were, out of respect for him, but he was not. This, mind you, is in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in Florida where cases are spiking. Offering self-check-in and keyless entry as Vrbo recommends would have been an easy way to remedy this, but at the very least, the manager should have respected us enough as guests to wear a mask when entering the house. When he returned for the check out on our last day, he was again not wearing a face covering even though we were. Our less-than-perfect experience with the property manager aside, we had a great stay and appreciated the spacious accommodations, amenities, and easy access to the outdoor activities.

I have stayed in many places over the years and most were very nice but I could always find something wrong that bugged me, but not this place from the days before we arrived we were already made welcome until the day we left we felt like this was truly our home and that’s exactly what the owners want, I have never been so comfortable and relaxed in such a beautiful are with some of the best little places to eat and shop so close to the home. We will for sure stay again and again.

Die Villa Harriet in Cape Coral war das perfekte Ferienhaus für unsere Familie mit Großeltern, Eltern und 2 Kids im Alter von 11 und 12 Jahren. Die stilvoll eingerichtete Villa bietet vier großzügige Schlafzimmer (darunter zwei Master mit eigenen Bädern), 1 weiteres Bad und eine hervorragend ausgestattete Küche. Highlights sind der große, beheizte Pool in Südlage mit Luftmatratzen und viel Wasserspielzeug, ein Bootsdock, 3 Kajaks, mehreren Outdoor-Sitzmöglichkeiten, 1 Billardtisch sowie moderne Technik mit Sonos-Soundsystem, Fernseher in jedem Zimmer, Netflix und überall W-Lan. Dank der überdachten Terrasse haben wir sogar die plötzlichen Regenschauer sehr gut draußen verbringen können. Die ruhige Lage direkt am Kanal, die Nähe zu verschiedenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und einem Wasserpark sowie die herzliche deutschsprachige Betreuung machten den Aufenthalt rundum entspannt. Wir vergeben volle 5 von 5 Sternen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Wonderful Vacation Oasis

For our family summer retreat in Florida’s west coast this year we decided to rent Villa Harriet in Cape Coral. The house is well equipped with anything you could need for a fun vacational stay. Communication with the owner wad great since the beginning when we booked a month prior to our stay. They offered a high chair and crib for my baby which we greatly appreciated. We enjoyed all the smart tVs (even in the pool area!), the Sonos Speakers are very easy to connect to, we loved playing music throughout the day. There was a lot of beach gear in the garage that came in handy for visiting the different beaches (4-5 working beach chairs, 2-3 coolers of different sized, umbrellas, tent, sand toys for little kids etc). For reference sake we stayed 1 week in July and our electric was 100$ Which is reasonable since it was very hot out and the house is quite big. However even though we set the AC to 67 at night we would still be a little hot at night, and if we turned the fans above bed then too cold. I think this can be solved with cotton sheets instead of microfiber (the later tend to be very hot). The pool can be heated to a temperature of your liking, but you do have to ask the property manager when he does the check in so that he can either show you or do it himself. We enjoyed the pool so much more once we were able to get it a bit warmer. The shower heads: i cannot say enough good things about them, we all had the best showers during our stay. Little things that can be improved: adding a set of 2-3 smaller pans can go along way, a toaster/oven or air fryer too, a couple of the wooden deck chairs outdoor need replacing , and finally the couch sectional while pretty and functional wasn’t very loungy or inviting to my personal taste. However these are minor things that did not take away from our experience.

2022 vacation

This property was very nice to stay in. The house was nice and roomy. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and any type of small appliance you may need. The only complaint was that the pool had to be re-cleaned due to it having algae in it when we arrived. I called Michael (the property manager) and sent him some pictures of the pool. The pool company came the next day and cleaning it up for us. Overall, this property was nice to stay at and I would recommend staying there to anyone.
