Perfect example of a no-fuss beach cottage! Plenty of room for the family. Clean! Totally relaxing and the walk to beach is super short. Communication was also perfect.

Our stay at The Hulk II was wonderful! Jim was a fantasic host and made sure we had everything needed. He was also very responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the beach. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs.

Such a lovely beach cottage! If you’ve ever wondered what a classic beach vacation felt like years ago, this is it. The kind of place that reminds you why people fell in love with beach cottages long before luxury vacation homes became the norm. The location is absolutely pristine, mere steps from beach access and a quick walk to the pier and local restaurants. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of parking and the hot tub was the perfect place to unwind after a day on the beach … and the STARS from the hot tub were stunning! It’s clear the host has put thought into making guests feel at home.This is not a luxury home, & that is exactly its charm. If you expect high-end finishes and every modern convenience, you may be disappointed. But if you appreciate the character, simplicity, & relaxed ambiance of an old-school beach cottage, you’ll absolutely love it. (And if a dishwasher is a vacation necessity, pack some paper plates & embrace the slower pace!)What truly made our stay exceptional was Jim. His communication was the best we’ve ever experienced through VRBO. He checked in each day, not in an intrusive way, but with genuine care to make sure everything was going well. Anytime we had a question, he responded almost immediately. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. Highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to experience the timeless charm of a traditional beach vacation.

The host was amazing with communication. Very quick to respond. The location was absolutely amazing! Super close to two beach access points and walking distance to pier and other activities. The hot tub was also such a huge plus, but we only used it once due to weather. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a cleaner house upon arrival. We found dirty dishes that were placed back in the cabinets and drawers. There was a ton of dust along the ceilings and air vents. Some of the linens looked questionable as well. The bathroom was definitely not cleaned well as we had hair in the tub and a dirty toilet. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We just hope for a better cleaning crew next time.

Also, in the future, if you (or any guest) has an issue with the property whether it be cleaning, etc….please let me know and I’ll have it fixed.
