Welcome to our modern little cabin in the woods! Located near a beautiful stretch of Georgia’s Silver Comet trail on a winding rural road off Hwy 278, the cabin is private and peaceful with clear nighttime views of the stars yet still accessible to grocery stores, restaurants, and various things to do: biking the Silver Comet, hiking nearby trails or just walking in the woods outside the back door, visiting local vineyards, or just hanging out at home. Our acre of land is surrounded by private family property and an expanse of WMA for a safe, relaxing retreat. Come visit!

This was an outstanding property! Tucked away amongst the tall pine trees with a deck to enjoy, a couple of chickens & guinea fowl that wandered around & even a neighbor’s black lab that my dog was able to play with one afternoon. Directions were spot on & I had no problems getting there. All the amenities were as listed & the queen bed was the best! I’ll definitely stay again when I visit the area!

Woodsy cabin is right! Beautiful secluded location. Even though the location is out of the way, the directions were easy to follow with no problems. The cabin is beautifully decorated, nice deck to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen has everything you could need, if you have kids, there are lots of fun dishes and silverware just for them. All in all, great stay and great value. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

The pictures are accurate. Pride of ownership shows in the careful selection of appointments. Our disappointment came when the area had a power outage which lasted greater than 12 hours. There was no water in the cabin or any backup for illumination such as candles or battery powered devices. We did find one flashlight. This occurred at dusk on a 90 degree summer day. Without power there is no tap water as well or ability to flush the toilet. While this has, per the owner, never happened before I mention it to alert future guests that this is truly a cabin in the woods and subject to the quirks of nature and the power grid. The owner refunded us part of our second night stay. He wasn’t obligated to do so within VRBO mandates. Should you be planning on attending a party at a local venue understand that the winding, hilly roads will add to your travel time.

The cabin was beautiful. A nice and quiet retreat, that’s still close to the city. The host was easy to communicate with. The process was great. I highly recommend, and would definitely stay again in the future.
