We had a fantastic experience renting this home for our daughter’s wedding party. The house was perfect and spacious for a group of 14. It is very well appointed and has a lovely and charming feel. The various spaces to hang out provide space yet feels so connected. It was perfect for our needs and would highly recommend!

We had just enough bedrooms for our 3 generations. The large kitchen and eating area are highlights. The location is great although it is on a very busy street with no sidewalk and the front bedroom is quite noisy early in the morning.

A Wonderful Week

We are a family that live all over the world so getting everyone together is a rare event. There were 8 adults and 5 children (ages 5-13) and it turned out to be the perfect house for us. The kids were thrilled with the bedroom with six beds and all the adults had their choice of any of the well appointed bedrooms. The rooms over the garage gave a place for the kids to get away from the parents but not so far that there was any need for worry. It turned out the thing we loved the most had not even come into the decision to rent this house and that was the porch. The weather was lovely (mostly in the 70's) and we spent hours gathered on the porch. Games of chess, talk of past adventures, glasses of wine, good hearted bantering and lots of laughter. It was truly a vacation we will always remember. The location was great. The beach was within walking distance though the water was too cold to really enjoy. We went into Kennebunk/Kennebunkport almost every day for something, and there is a great little sandwich shop just down the street from the house that we kept busy.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and there was plenty of room for seating at the tables. It was just a fabulous week and we will always remember it fondly.

We had a fabulous time!! The house was perfect for a large family with 5 young children. Lots of yard space to play and run. We were able to set up a pickle ball net in the driveway. Kids had a great time. The house had lots of toys and books. The house is half a mile to Mother's beach and a play ground. Walkable. House was supplied with all cooking needs! The only issue was that 1 bedroom was a walk through to get to front staircase.

Fabulous Maine vacation house!

Large home in Maine with huge wrap around porch, was ideal for our multi generational family gathering. The guys loved the game room and pool table while the smaller children liked playing outside. The moms enjoyed the expansive front porch and well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend and would stay there again. A couple of things to note… the house is on a busy street. Which was a little precarious walking to the beach with small children. There is a 100/week fee to park at the beach. The beds are comfy but could use some new pillows and you have to put sheets (provided ) on all the beds.(Not a big deal unless you arrive tired). It was fun to gather in the game room to watch the basketball games but it could have been even better with a larger tvAll in all, our stay was great, the location good and the house big enough for us all to spread out!

Beautiful home Beautiful stay!

Wonderful accommodation for a larger group. Clean, well appointed, perfectly located. Perfect for a multifamily vacation, or reunion. Lovely neighborhood with beach access within walking distance. We were there for Christmas prelude events with our family, including our grandchildren. Couldn't have asked for a better situation. Would recommend this property without equivocation!

Great family gathering

We knew the house was big… it was actually bigger than we needed, but the space offered grandchildren and quiet-seeking adults the luxury of many nooks and rooms. The house was well supplied with kitchen and beach basics. The walk to the beach was easy, even with little kids and gear; a beach buggy found at the house was much appreciated. This was the perfect summer getaway for our family, and we’re thinking of a return stay at the house next year.

Great Vacation House

We had a large gathering (18) for our 55th wedding anniversary involving our children and most of our grandchildren. We rented both the large house and the house above the garage also on the same property which was ample space. The house was very well located walking distance from the beach. The kitchen was very well equipped only lacking an ice maker. It was nice to gather at the house in the evening for pool games and cards.

Family vacation in Kennebunk

This Kennebunk home was the perfect location for our family summer vacation. It is very large and accommodates a big group easily. The wrap around porch is a lovely place to enjoy meals and morning coffee. The house is perfectly located to the beach and town. The house has very nice amenities and is well equipted to make your stay feel like you are at home. Such a beautiful neighborhood.

Spacious, well supplied rental

We were a party of 16 and found this rental supplied with anything you might need such as pans, dishes etc. There were two kitchen areas with two dishwashers and two refrigerators! We enjoyed the location near Mother’s Beach which was walkable, also! All in all a wonderful rental experience!

Great potential, but serious shortcomings

With great size and good location with easy walk/ bike ride to Mother’s Beach, this house should be a winner. Excellent, well-equipped kitchen with huge kitchen table supports a large crew very easily. Main drawback is the run-down nature of the property. The house has a beautiful wraparound porch which should be the social focal point. Unfortunately, the porch is covered with old, dirty carpets and equally dilapidated furniture pieces with flaking paint that stuck to our grandchildren’s hands. Impossible to enjoy that beautiful space which has been allowed to deteriorate unnecessarily. Shower head in the master bath was broken; the garage was a messy repository of castaway toys and furniture; the grill was dilapidated and filthy. With a little attention, this property could and should be an excellent vacation home for a large family/group.

Perfect House!

Our family ranged from 1 yr to 71 yrs with 11 adults and children under 8. The house could not have been more perfect and met all of our needs for sleeping, eating, and playing. The amenities were better than described and the house was beautiful, comfortable and also, very well stocked with supplies. The second kitchen was large and well-planned and essential to accommodate everyone’s needs and space. The entertainment area over the garage was great and kept nighttime activity away from those sleeping. The house was huge with many porches and rooms to read, hide or socialize, however the best part was it’s fabulous location to the beach-we walked and biked to Mother’s Beach which was above and beyond perfect for our crew. The location couldn’t have been better for beaches and shopping- close enough to enjoy, while private enough to relax. Thank you for an amazing week!

Excellent Vacation Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a lovely home with ample space for our family reunion of 8 people. The house was nicely furnished and had everything we needed, from towels and sheets to kitchen supplies. While we didn't use the kitchen for cooking, it had a good supply of pots and pans. And the fact that it was only a 5 minute drive to the Kennebunkport shops and restaurants made it a perfect location.

Such a beautiful home. Three families - Grandparents, kids, and 4 grandkids always go away over New Years break to use this time to open gifts. This was one of our favorite homes! The layout was perfect with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Common areas were spacious enough for all of us to hang out. I loved the prep kitchen which we were able to store all of our things which kept the main kitchen tidy.This home was very well equipped from kitchen supplies, games, toys, etc. A great location right down the road from Mother's Beach. Can't wait to go back!

Annual Family Christmas Tree Gathering

The property was beyond expectations. I have found in the past, pictures look better than the actual premises. Not so with this property. It was amazing. The setup is superb. Do much room for so many. We have a large family so we need space. We also have many “chefs,” whom live to cook and provide exceptional meals for all. This property not only provided this, it provided areas we could all choose to be social or choose seclusion depending on mood and time of day. We enjoyed learning the history of the family and Dr. Joseph Grady who is responsible for this extremely delightful property. It assists in understanding the design, which supports family gatherings and social encounters. I’m hopeful to be able to stay here again and again as it fits our annual family gatherings. We would love to own this property, though for now being a guest is a privilege. Thank you for its capabilities and providing another year of unforgettable family memories!
