Family Vacation

Our stay at Robin’s house was top notch. It felt like we were right at home. The property is gorgeous and was perfect for our family. Our dogs loved being able to have some freedom while on vacation. I’m sure we will be back during our next trip! Thank you so much!

Super Stay!

We enjoyed our 2 weeks at 1320 Lantern Road. The house was very clean and inviting. It was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever had. There were spices and many nice appliances for cooking. Our pups enjoyed spending time in the yard, and we did as well on a few nice warm January days. The caretaker and owner were both very communicative, informative and friendly. We will certainly stay here again when in the Charleston area.

Comfortable home, wonderful host

This home far exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, the home is incredibly clean, comfortable and very well stocked, and the host was excellent. We will stay here in the future for all of our Summerville/ Charleston visits! If you stay here, please tell Jack the neighborhood cat that we said hello! Our family watched movies, made dinners together and enjoyed the local area. Food Lion is less than a mile away and plenty of restaurants very nearby. Great experience!

Lantern Rd Stay

The house use just as we expected. The online pictures and description were perfect. The owner emailed us with updates of Coron Virus for the region and took extra precautions before our visit in regards to cleaning. We were very comfortable, the location was perfect and if we get the opportunity to visit Summerville again we would definitely stay at this house. Thank you Robin.

This home exceeded our expectations. We wanted a pet friendly home with a fenced yard and our dog quietly enjoyed his space. We enjoyed the backyard too. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet. I love to cook and the kitchen was very well stocked with cookware. There are also so many restaurants close by; all with delicious choices. The traffic in those areas can be busy at times. We love to ride our bikes. We drove a short distance to Sawmill Branch trail but our favorite was West Ashley Greenway which was also a short drive away. It is a must see. Robin, thank you for sharing your home with us. We would enjoy staying there again.

Perfect!

This rental property is Awesome! Robin & Nancy were Super with questions & concerns which started with a Date change. Communication was Excellent. The home was Super clean and had Every amenity available from cooking to bedding to towels, etc. We would highly recommend this area of South Carolina:) Charleston and Beautiful Isle's of Palms (Beach/ Ocean) within 30 mins. We had our Dog and it was Great having a nice sized fenced in yard for her. Safe and Pretty neighborhood too! Loved it

Quiet neighborhood in the Charleston suburbs located roughly 40 minutes to the beach. The house is very cozy. I met the host in the house when we arrived since she was waiting for extra towels due to the previous guests using them all. She was very friendly and helpful. I rented this place for myself, boyfriend and his two kids, then our cousin & his girlfriend came along as well since my two kids were going elsewhere for vacation. There was space for all. Loved how big the master is with walk-in closet and huge bathroom with a shower and spa tub. The two extra rooms and full bathroom were nice as well. The only downside which isn’t really a bad thing is that there aren’t bunk beds or two twin beds and/or the couch doesn’t turn into an extra bed. My boyfriend’s kids are opposite sex so one slept on the couch and the other in a bedroom. At the end of the day I’ll definitely rent here again if I can. I tried to book for thanksgiving but sadly it’s already booked.

Our stay was fantastic. Very clean home, had everything needed for our weeks stay. Robin was great, answered any questions we had very quickly. Summerville was a great location. Pretty much centerally located. We even went to myrtle beach for the day. Our dog finnegan loved his stay as well. He loved the back yard. Thank you robin for sharing your house with us. Would definitely consider staying at your home again.

We celebrated my 38th birthday vacation in South Carolina, and it was well worth the 14-hour drive! Walking into the home, it was nicely cool on a very hot day, which was such a relief. The house was clean, cozy, and stocked with essentials, making it feel like a true home away from home. Despite being in a busy area, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and everything we needed was conveniently close by. My love and I were very comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to returning!

We spent 9 days in this home and happy to say our stay was great! The home is in a great location, close to shopping, food and I-26. It is spacious, clean and well appointed. The house was fully stocked and there was no shortage of any supplies or amenities. Robin was extremely responsive to any questions or inquiries. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again! You will not be disappointed.

An Absolutely Wonderful Stay!Our recent vacation at your beautiful home in Summerville, was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean, well-maintained, and inviting everything was.The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. We particularly appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with all pots and pans, utensils, and dishes. We loved the comfy sectional, the spacious backyard, and comfortable bed. It had everything we needed and more, which made our stay so much more relaxing and convenient than a traditional hotel.The location was also perfect – as my son lives only 20 minutes from there. We enjoyed our morning breakfast at the kitchen table with sun shining in and the view of the back yard.Communication with the host was easy, as she was incredibly helpful and responsive.Overall, your beautiful home once again (We have stayed here before) met all of our expectations in every way. Love This House!

This is the perfect house. I would buy it if it were for sale. Very friendly neighborhood, folks waving from their cars as we walked our dog. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Communication with owner was excellent. No down sides to this rental, enjoy!

Lovely Home and neighborhood!

We have a lovely Stay at this home. We had a few small issues that were both resolved as quickly as possible. The caretaker was very responsive and helpful with resolutions. The house itself is very clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The yard was very nice for our fur babies. The neighborhood is very quiet, friendly and close enough to see all the Charleston sights without any major inconvenience so long as you have access to a car.

Great Place to Stay!!!!

I will stay at this house again! Robin and Nancy were great communicators. My fur baby just loved the fenced in back yard. She had a great time watching the birds and squirrels! The house was just what we needed for a perfect long weekend!

Hello I am Robin (Chelle, if you prefer). I am a US Southern girl living in France at present with my husband and our furry children. I was born in Florida then spent the majority of my life in good old South Carolina. Chance brought my husband to the US and the rest was fate. Now I am an old pro at living overseas (20+ years) but my true home will always be the US. We are hoping to retire to Summerville one day but that is still many years off.
I work at home but love being outdoors. I spend all my spare time at my dog club teaching agility and competing in agility and obedience with my Aussies. We also dabble in Treibball, Dog Dancing, Frisbee and Cavage (that's truffle hunting). Well, enough
about me.

My love for this house is not only due to the memories that it brings me of my father but also due to its quaint style. It has a lovely garden full of birds and squirrels. I have been told there is even a bunny around sometimes. Also the cute little picket fences and trellis simply made me adore this house. It truly stands out among the others in the neighborhood. Inside it is bright and spacious. I have tried to decorate it with taste and comfort. All this makes me love this house. Believe me when I tell you I would love to live here full time but I cannot so I will let you enjoy it for me.

My home is ideally located for exploring the Charleston area. It is in a very quiet neighborhood just 2 miles from I-26. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping right around the corner too. It cannot get any better than that to see the region.
