My friends and I do a fishing trip on a different lake in the Adirondack,s once or twice a year. This is by far the nicest location yet ! We rented a boat at the marina a few minutes away. The house was comfortable , fully equipped and also on the nicest part of the lake. The owners Shawn and Nicole were super friendly and wonderful to communicate with. I would highly recommend this lake house for a family as well . Brian C

Lovely little getaway!

This house is situated beautifully on Great Sacandaga Lake. The water level was very low while we were there but that didn't stop my son and husband from doing a lot of fishing (with several nice catches). The house is well appointed with plenty of bedrooms, linens and kitchen necessities. There were a lot of cluster flies that needed to be picked up when we first arrived but other than that, very clean. One suggestion might be to have better lighting in the upstairs great room as it was difficult to see (especially for the older adults) once the sun set. The owners were wonderful to communicate with and went above and beyond in this realm. I would definitely stay at this home again!

Amazing property and amenities for enjoyment

Our family had a wonderful week at this special home and property. Everything the home had to offer perfected our trip. We’ll never forget the incredible views! Must be incredible in the fall. The owners were so proactive, polite and eager to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

Amazing week

Thank you Shawn & Nicole for hosting our family and friends in your home. There were 12 of us and there was plenty of room. Kids had a great time fishing off the dock and watching the sunsets! We had fires every night and coffee on the porch in the mornings! Hopefully we can return again next summer!

Family fun relaxation

This property is truly one of a kind! How it’s perfectly place on the Great Lake. Also the dock had plenty of fish from trout to bass a fisherman’s paradise. Would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a great spot to just get away from city life like how my family did and just to relax out by the water everyday and then roast marshmallows at the fire pit every night.

Wonderful getaway!

This home is in a great location for lake fun. We were able to swim and kayak directly from the property. With 6 bedrooms there was plenty of room. The kitchen is stocked with spices, utensils and equipment to be able to stay put and cook. The fire pit was amazing and there was firewood stacked up upon our arrival for us to use. Nicole and Shawn, the owners of the home were very kind and easy to work with and answered all of our questions. They even checked in with us the day prior to our arrival to see if we had any last-minute questions. Highly recommended rental and I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did!

Great Lake Experience!

This has to be one of the best locations on the lake! The views were always amazing whether it was sunny or even raining. We had such a great time kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking nearby, lazing on the deck and watching shooting stars at night. It was a fantastic family vacation with great memories made! Shawn and Nicole were incredibly communicative and helpful, as was the property manager, and that made our stay stress-free!

Just what we needed!

This home is all about the view and wow what a view it is. We so enjoyed our week of relaxation, boating, fishing and family. The big windows let in the natural light and the outdoor living space is perfect. Big deck, nice seating area, awesome fireplace, beautiful property and a boat dock which was key for us. Worth noting is there's not a ton to do in the area unless you head to lake george, but the house was so nice and homey, we loved cooking in and just enjoying the house.

3rd Trip to Tranquility Point!

This was our 3rd year returning to Tranquility Point with our extended family and we cannot say enough about how much we love it! The location is awesome and there are literally views of the lake from every angle and every window (the windows are huge!) The house is bright and airy and has always been immaculate when we arrive. The dock is such a convenience and the kids enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding - we even rented a boat at the marina this year. The sunsets are beautiful. The kids enjoyed playing on the beach and exploring. Such a relaxing time. Thank you --we will be back next year!

Lake Sacandaga House

This rental had superb outdoor grounds. It's right on the lake with a great the dock for those who have a boat or rent a boat like we did. The views are spectacular. I have never been there before and I found it to be a beautiful area. For those who like outdoor activities, I highly recommend this rental!

One of a kind location

Amazing space, right on the water, gorgeous view out of the main floor, awesome deck area, love the kitchen is "in the action" of the main room so cooks are still able to visit, personal dock was great for kayaks, paddleboard, brought a sunfish, rented a pontoon boat one day and could pick people up. We had 3 days of rain that made everything kinda moist in the house, but even that didn't DAMPED our spirits in such a wonderful house. Thank you!

Relaxing week!

The house, property, and view are all stunning. My children, husband, and father enjoyed fishing off the dock. My mother could remain on the house deck and watch us playing in the yard and swimming in the lake. My boys enjoyed the kayaks provided… so many memories were made in this beautiful house!

Beautiful property at fantastic location

The house was clean and in good shape and the kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies. Our family and the family we stayed with had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed swimming off the dock and the view was amazing. 5 stars and highly recommend to anybody looking to enjoy a stay on the lake.

The ultimate Sacandaga camp

We have been going to Sacandaga every year since the early 70s. When our parents sold their place, my sister and I started renting. This is hands down the best place we have stayed. The house is beautiful with a spectacular main room/kitchen/dining with incredible views. There is plenty of room for adults and kids to have their own space to hang out when we are inside, but that was rarely the case. The outdoor deck is a great place to sit and read, chat or eat. The furniture was really nice and comfortable. The dock is a great size for lots of people to be whether swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking or just enjoying the sun. Nights were spent by the campfire. We were relatively home bound thanks to Covid, but absolutely no one minded. I can’t say enough nice things about this clean, beautiful, well-stocked house and the owners are the best. I sent a message on a Sunday morning about a couple small things (lightbulbs, small hoe in the screen door) and they were fixed by lunchtime. I’m already dreaming about next year.

Perfection

This property was more beautiful and perfect than we ever imagined. We had 4 adults and 7 children and it was perfect. Upon arrival there was geese droppings all over the years. We notified the owners and they sent someone to take care of it. Highly recommend this property. We are hoping to make it back next summer.

Our Little Paradise

Our family vacation at Tranquility Point could not have been any better. We had plenty of space for 10 adults to relax on the deck, enjoy the campfire, and gather for meals. We prepared all our meals so really appreciated the well appointed kitchen. Kayaking, fishing and swimming were enjoyed by all. Tranquility Point was above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay here again!
