Inside, the home sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably with one queen bed, one full bed, and a comfy sofa bed in the living room. With thoughtful touches throughout, you'll enjoy modern conveniences like WiFi, air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen. This is a great place to stay and very serene. The house is clean and well kept and stocked with kitchen utensils. The hosts were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We will be staying here again.

The home was amazing, the stay was great and the view and atmosphere the town was friendly. Would definitely come back again. The only thing was the beds were tab high especially if your short and small lol. Other than that it was fun my family had a great time.

Overall property was great. One thing we noticed the hot water would cut in and out while taking a shower not sure what that was about.Maybe add a few more board games for the kids. Over all very good

This was our little christmas vacation. The house was so beautiful. I love the open space, tall ceilings and all the windows, no matter where you were you had a gorgeous view of the trees and lake. The house was warm and cozy feel. The kids loved the air hockey machine!The house was very well stocked. There were extra blankets, linens, soaps, shampoos, towels, pillows, kitchen ware and cooking utensils and pots and pans. The house had everything you need. All we had to do was go to the grocery store and get what we wanted. It was very nice, since there was a bad storm we stayed in and did some cooking. The bedrooms were so cute, one bed was firmer then the other, my kids had that room and they slept good. Sheets were comfy. The master bedroom bed was a bit softer, but the sheets were comfy as well. Loved the acess to the patio. The drive way was steep, but thats all mountain driveways. We had a mini van and learned how low sitting our van was. It was scrapping when we tried to park in the driveway. There was a spot for us on the street in front of the cabin. So all worked out well. This was such a beautiful cabin to spend time with the family during the holidays. It was close to town and resturants. I definetly would stay here again.

This cabin home was absolutely beautiful and very accommodating. We are a family of 5, our kids are ages 6, 8, and 14 and everyone was happy. The view of the lake was spectacular! Perfect for viewing the night stars over a hot cup of coffee. There’s a TV in every room with access to all subscription services, the bathroom is stocked with shampoo/conditioner, a first aid kit, and we had just enough toilet paper for our 4 day stay. My wife was able to cook an entire Thanksgiving feast only having brought aluminum pans to bake the bird and sides. Thank God the cabin was equipped with all cooking essentials! Pots, pans, peeler, whisk etc. To any families looking to make use of the kitchen, I do suggest you do your groceries before passing the Base Line because we shopped at the only grocery store in Crestline and what would’ve cost 70 at Aldi or Walmart ended up costing 300!!! Just a helpful tip. We bought dura-logs, one for each night and it just was the perfect ambience. The kids went to sleep in the moose and bear rooms, and mommy and daddy got to watch TV by the fire past bedtime. Just perfect. We also really appreciated the foosball and air hockey tables, the kiddos used the hell out of those since we said absolutely no iPads allowed on this trip. All in all we are so happy we chose to stay at the Chaidez Lakehouse. Fabulous views, and a fabulous host. Thank you!

Flexible and accommodating owner. Quiet neighborhood. Great views. Cooking suppose we’re great. The bear room and lake view was my favorite. With improvements I feel this could be a great rental. When we booked, we didn’t know there was a tenant below. We thought it was an entire home to ourselves as listed. It was not disclosed until we received the home instructions. However, we just reviewed the listing on vrbo and it looks like that information has been added. The water temp will go in and out. The living room Ac was good and strong. During a heat advisory, it would be good to have a portable Ac in the rooms because they do tent to get warm even with the fans. Shared parking space is tight. It will not fit a bigger car like a truck. It’s difficult to get in and out of because it’s a downhill parking spot and pretty tight since the other parking spot is shared with the tenant. We’re private people so having a tenant below made it difficult to enjoy the deck as much as of we would of liked. The tenants were great. Didn’t bother us or make noise. It’s just our privacy preference. Cleanliness in some areas and Amenities ( access to dishwasher soap, toilet paper and paper towels can improve). I was able to share this with the owner and they were open to feedback. Overall, it was an ok experience. Owner is open to feedback and accommodating. My hope is some of this feedback is taken into consideration for future guests because the lake view is beautiful!
