What a relaxing experience!

Beautiful house in the mountains of Gatlinburg. Would highly suggest this rental for anyone interested in the area. The host were great as we had a few questions once we got there. They were very patient and helped very quickly! House is very clean and precise, but very comfortable at the same time. The road leading to the house is interesting to say the least.....many sharp turns and very steep. That said....it added to the awesome adventure. The views were beautiful and the hot tub was very nice and easy to use.

Easter trip

The cabin was very nice and clean. Things were labeled which made it easy to find things. The view of mountains was beautiful but landscaping could use a little perking up. Flowering shrubs would be nice. We used the hot tub daily- felt good on tired muscles after hikes that we enjoyed. Location was good but we got lost a few times. Check in was easy and owners were friendly and offered assistance if needed. We loved being out on the deck for morning coffee. Sofa could use an upgrade ( it was pretty uncomfortable) but we were pretty busy exploring and not much time to sit. We had a wonderful trip!

Beautiful cabin!

What a wonderful cabin. It is decorated beautifully and we enjoyed our brief stay. That was our first trip to the area, and it was just a stop on our way back from Florida, so the downside is we only were there two nights. We hope to come back soon and enjoy a longer stay!The hosts were helpful and the place is well organized for renters. Great job! Everything was a breeze!

Everything was as advertised. Great location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. All kitchen ware was clearly labeled with easy access to all functions. Clean and comfortable.

Great getaway

This cabin is in the best location!! You are less than 10 minutes from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the National Park. The property was very clean and well stocked with everything you'd need. It is very quite and makes a great place to go just to get away. I highly recommend this property!!

Exceeded already HIGH expectations

This cabin was perfect for our stay our stay in the Gatlinburg area. The cabin was spotless when we arrived. The checkin process was very easy and Angela (property owner) was great at communicating leading up to, right before, during and after our stay. House had everything you would need including dishwasher pods, laundry pods for the in unit laundry room, trash bags, Kuerig pods Etc, my wife was amazed that in addition to towels provided for bath and hot tub there was makeup remover towels as well! The view from the deck was perfect mountain scene and we spent a lot of time taking in the view was the hot tub. So relaxing! We would even they go back to this same cabin, the drive to gatlinburg was super short (5mins). And maybe 10 minutes to smoky mountain national park. 10/10

Amazing experience!!!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! The views were incredible! The cabin was very clean. It was cozy. The fireplace was awesome! My wife and I had amazing time and we will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future! Highly recommend for a couples weekend get a way, Valentine’s Day, or an anniversary. We can’t wait to get back!

Amazing Cabin in a Fantastic Location

We absolutely loved this cabin. The location and views were amazing. The cabin was exceptionally clean. I lived that EVERYTHING was labeled and instructions were posted so there was no having to guess where stuff was or how things work. The hot tub on the balcony overlooking the mountains was fantastic. We cant't wait to stay here again!! oerfect. We wocant.

When we walked into the cabin it was clean and stocked with whatever you need to cook with. The cabin is decorated very homey and the location is perfect. The views are amazing and what a great way to end the day with a glass of wine in the hot tub.

Awesome stay

My husband and I stayed for a few days for our anniversary. First, you cannot beat the view but secondly and more importantly, the cabin was very clean and well stocked. The owners are clearly very thoughtful in their preparation of the property. I found a hook where I wanted a hook, a towel when I wanted a towel and direction if I was confused. The hosts checked in when we arrived and as we were checking out to make sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Beautiful cabin centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and just a short drive off the main road. The cabin was super clean, nice towels and sheets and the owners were super responsive to our questions during the renting process. Lovely place!

We rent from lots of places on rental sites & this one was by far the nicest. So clean & very comfy. Location is great for many things to do nearby. Owners are great to deal with. Only suggestion would be robes for when you get out of the jacuzzi.

Take Me Away was our 2011 project and first vacation property. After 18 months, we found the perfect cabin, location and of course all with amazing mountain views. After Nov 28th, 2016, the "first" Take Me Away was a just memory due to the wildfires. Rebuilding was something we wanted to do almost immediately and after 7 months, Take Me Away is back and better than ever! Thank you to all our guests who have stayed and we look forward to having you back!
