The perfect location for me

The house was great. Looked just like in the photos. Was comfortable but chilly with the blower working, especially downstairs. Finally figured out how to turn the blower off. I did not bother the host or probably would have been warmer sooner. The house features some lights that turn on automatically which was a little unsettling to come back and find lights on in bedrooms. The only negative I have is that I heard noises on several occasions that made it sound like someone was in the house. After much searching and listening, discovered there are a couple of squirrels living in the ceiling. I did notify the owner. The house was in the perfect location for me as it was minutes from my friend who I was visiting. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Spent 5 days here for the President's Cup Soccer tournament. Your house was perfectly located, totally comfortable and reasonably priced.

Great getaway

Wonderful place..perfect for week of history center research..we were 3 couples.. host made sure the snow was shoveled before we left every morning and offer to add a night if needed for weather delays at airport which wasn't needed..we will stay again

Historic, clean and perfect

From the moment we walked in, we absolutely fell in love with this place. Everything was clean, organized (thank you for all the labels), every detail well thought. It felt homey because of all the family photos. Never stayed anywhere with such focus on detail, comfort and ease. Neighborhood was quiet, clean and perfect location. Thank you so very much. We look forward to staying here again.

Very nice remodel of a cute late 1800's house, but...

The house itself appears to have been professionally remodeled and was very nicely appointed and decorated with modern appliances, cabinets, floors, etc. The down side is this house had at least two obvious video cameras INSIDE the house. This was very unsettling in today's day and age, and I believe in violation of VRBO rules. We had no choice but to accept the cameras since we needed to stay in that part of town for a funeral and graveside service nearby, but will not rent this house again in the future.

Extremely comfortable, roomy and convenient

Exudes a delightful charm of an ancestral family home. Beds and furniture super comfortable. Kitchen is spacious and plenty of parking. Lighting was great. Bathrooms were well lit, nice shower/baths with room. This house was super clean. Felt very safe and secure. Caretaker was friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Cleanest property I’ve stayed in

This property was beautiful inside and the cleanest vrbo I have ever stayed in. Amenities were immaculate and everything was labeled. There was a very homey and peaceful feeling here. The bedrooms were adorable. My only issue was that the dishwasher and washing machine didn’t work and both of the fold out couches were not in working order. One of them didn’t even have a mattress. Other than that, our experience was wonderful

Lovely springtime retreat

A lovely home with a generous backyard and patio, replete with irises and roses. Kitchen had all the basics needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for a week. Excellent internet and having Alexa at one's command provided a nice atmosphere. Owner answered all questions in a timely fashion. Slight inconveniences with the dishwasher and washer not working but overall a lovely stay.

Perfect for us

This house was super clean and well stocked. It worked great for our house hunting trip. Was super close to the airport which worked great since one of our party came in really late on Thursday night. All the kitchen cabinets and light switches were clearly labeled which was super helpful. We were disappointed all the family pictures weren’t labeled. It was clear that it was a family home. The dishwasher, washing machine, and the ice/water on the refrigerator door were not working. It wasn’t a problem for us but if we had stayed longer, it would have been. The home owner made up for it by leaving bottled water. This worked great for us because we were on the go most of the time. It was super easy to get to all the spots we were looking for housing. Very nice stay!
