Our home is the ideal spot for small families and groups of friends seeking a peaceful seaside getaway.

With sweeping ocean views, an open-concept layout, and a prime location just a short walk from Rockport’s beaches, shops and restaurants, this cottage is the perfect spot to call home during your getaway to the North Shore. Sleeping 4 guests comfortably (or 6 if you have kids or friends that like to be close!), this 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom home with an open floor plan is the perfect getaway for small families/groups of friends and couples.

Location, location, location! Under a 10 minute walk from Front Beach and Old Garden Beach, you can easily swim, sunbathe, or simply soak in the coastal ambiance. Once you`ve had your fill of the sun, stroll right outside your door down to Bearskin Neck and explore this historic street lined with quaint shops, seafood restaurants and art galleries (Rockport has long been an artist`s haven, so enjoy a plethora of works by local and renowned artists!). Don`t forget to snap a photo at Motif Number 1, `the most painted building in America!`. Rockport`s Cape Ann neighbors like Gloucester, Manchester-By-The-Sea, and Marblehead are just a short drive away, offering additional dining and entertainment options!

Third Floor

Front Beach, Back Beach, Long Beach, Cape Hedge Beach, Pebble Beach, and Old Garden Beach are all an easy walk from our house -please note that only Front Beach has lifeguards on duty. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, and a wagon for your use

Halibut Point State Park is only a 10 minute drive, where you can hike along scenic trails with breathtaking ocean views and explore the iconic Halibut Point Quarry.

During May-Oct, Rockport is the perfect spot to set out on a whale watching tour.

We are dog friendly and require a non-refundable $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs, max). This does not cover any damage or waste pickup and all dogs must be house trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not allow cats due to guest allergies.

Guests have full access to the house with the exception of one locked storage closet.

The house comfortably sleeps 4, but can sleep up to 6-7 if you`re very close or if some of your party are children!

While there are three separate sleeping areas, the loft is open to both the primary bedroom and the back bedroom. The only bathroom is located in the primary bedroom.

The steps to the loft are steep and not safe for young children without adult supervision.

Parking can be a challenge in Rockport during the summer - there is abundant street parking, including four spots right in front of our home but they fill up fast and are metered for a max of 2 hours. There is a free pier parking lot next to the house, but it`s only available on one side and again, fills up fast and you have to be out by 6 PM.

For longer term parking, there is a parking lot less than a mile away at the Blue Gate Meadow lot. From the parking lot, it is about a 3/4 mile walk or trolley ride to downtown Rockport. Fortunately, everything in Rockport is less than a 10 minute walk from the house and unless you`re visiting the other Cape Ann towns (which we encourage!) you won`t need your car.

We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video on all exterior entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.

Absolutely no smoking inside, on the porches, or near open exterior doors - there is a $250 fee if this is violated.

While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.

Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees.
