Prized Gem is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful, romantic retreat away from the hustle and bustle. This cozy cabin blends modern comforts with farmhouse charm, featuring an open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, infrared sauna, two person indoor jacuzzi, luxurious shower, hydrotherapy hot tub and king-sized bed.

Enjoy the tranquility of nature from the private porch, perfect for relaxing, getting cozy by the gas firepit, listening to the bustling creek below and watching the wildlife pass by.

Explore nearby wineries, hiking trails and waterfalls or stay in and unwind by the firepit and create lasting memories in this serene getaway.

Prized Gem is pet-friendly so your furry family members are welcome to join the adventure! They will enjoy their very own fenced in area to play fetch in or just hang out.

Traveling with another couple? Hidden Jewell is our sister barndominium-style cabin just a few steps away! Your friends will enjoy the same upscale amenities and privacy while creating their very own lasting memories.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Prized Gem is a Luxury property and available to guests 25 years or older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved all the way to the property.
• Pets: Prized Gem is pet friendly.
• Security: There is an outdoor security camera on the front left corner of the house.

Great host checked in on us multiple times, cabin was nicely decorated with Christmas thene. Definitely a dog friendly place with a great dog area on the side. This is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. Feels very private. Loved the covered deck with firepit and jacuzzi. Not too far from Helen and very pretty to drive around. Many wineries nearby.

Outstanding couple getaway. A tad out of the way for the North Georgia mountain scene, about a half hour out from Helen and Unicoi. Property backs up to a quiet stream and forest, in a decent neighborhood. Hot tub on deck was a fave. Good for rest and relaxation. The property is well managed and the rental agency extremely friendly and easy to work with… we extended an extra day with no hassle.

Anniversary Memories Made!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here. Everything was as pictured and described. The cabin and grounds were both gorgeous.Helen was only about 20 minutes away with lots to do there. Lake Chatuge was about 45 minutes away and worth the drive to see beautiful lake views of the mountains of both Georgia and North Carolina. Ton of hiking trails and falls near. We would highly recommend. We’ve had several friends also asked details. Georgia Mountain Rentals were excellent. They checked in on us to make sure all of our needs were met.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I recently stayed at the Prized Gem with our small dog for a weekend trip to Helen. The process to book through Georgia Mountain Rentals was easy, and the communication was exceptional. They were always quick to respond to me, and even called to check in on us while we were there. The cabin is very nice and cozy, and the area was quiet (other than acorns dropping from the trees onto the roof, haha). It was also super clean. There were plenty of towels and washcloths for us and plates and silverware if you need it. The bed was comfy. The tub and shower were AMAZING and the lighting options were really cool! I need that tub in my house! We did not use the sauna or the hot tub, but they’re there if you need them. The back porch was a nice space to get some fresh air. I really liked that it had a fenced in area for your dog, but one thing I would note is that there is no grass in this area – it was primarily rock, dirt, and thousands of acorns. I know some dogs can be a little picky about surfaces that they will go potty on, so FYI for anyone who's dog is picky about this. We did take our dog for a short walk up the street a couple of times. I would like to see some grass in this area next time. There was also a fire pit area outside and a little fire pit on the back porch, too – we didn’t use them, but on a cool night, it would be really nice. The location is rural, we had no cell signal here, but the cabin does have free WiFi. The cabin is about a 30 minute drive to Helen, and 40-45 minutes to Anna Ruby Falls. One other thing I would note is that you may want to bring a charging adapter for your devices, especially if you have several of them to charge. I did not think about this when I packed, and I had to look around for a place to charge my phone. There is a USB port on each of the lamps on the bedside tables, so I got lucky! This cabin was truly a “gem,” and we would not hesitate to stay
