Had a fantastic winter vacation at this home! Communication with the host was top notch. The house had TONS of space for multiple families and was well kept and clean when we arrived. Linens were provided and laundry was available to do on site. The house was also well stocked with toiletries including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, etc. We were able to enjoy the beautiful space outdoors in the backyard sledding and exploring. I would definitely recommend this stay to others!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and while the location and size of the house was fantastic, the overall condition of the property really REALLY needs attention. The home felt so unkept, and it was clear the cleaning service had only done very light work. By the time the owner tried to resolve it, I had already spent two hours deep cleaning the house myself. As the bride, this added a lot of unnecessary stress right before guests were arriving. There were flies throughout the house, fly droppings on multiple surfaces, and dust built up in all the vents. Under the couch and beds looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months, old food under multiple beds... and there were scuff marks/hand prints all over the walls, fridge dirty. The porch areas were messy, just unkept/ unpainted, and there was a bunch of spilled paint in the path to exit the basement door. The gazebo had lots of mold and really needs a thorough power wash; we couldn't do our private vows there as we planned. To be fair, the beds were clean...that was the one thing that gave me true peace. The owner was very, very responsive and did refund our cleaning fee, which we appreciated. The area itself is gorgeous, and the property has a lot of potential, but it needs real care and maintenance to meet the expectations set by the price. I’m not sure I would recommend this home to guests who value cleanliness or overall quality. Just being honest here for future visitors.
