Comfortable 1 bedroom suite in Bowness
This suite is located in the community of Bowness, ideally situated a short 15 minutes driving time to downtown Calgary. It also located next to Canada Olympic Park, and a very short walk to some of the best walking trails the city has to offer along the beautiful Bow River.
This suite was set up just before the Calgary Stampede started, and we just received our city approval on June 26, 2025. As a result, we still have availability for all of July, including during the Calgary Stampede.
The Suite
This is a legal basement suite that was constructed in late 2023, and is owner occupied upstairs. This suite is a one bedroom, with a laundry room, spacious bathroom, a full kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher. The suite is also equipped with a dining area, an office area, and a comfortable living room, with tall ceilings.
Amenities
There is a full kitchen with oven and all necessary appliances, including a full size fridge and dishwasher. We have the suite set up with a good coffee bar that is always well stocked. We also have all of the basic supplies for the kitchen, with standard spices and condiments available.
We have a desktop computer available upon request in case you need access to a computer. We have a docking station available upon request if you wanted to use the monitors, keyboard, and mouse to plug in your laptop.
The suite is ideally set up for a longer term tenant. There is a dedicated laundry room with full washer and dryer. The bedroom features a king size bed with a large closet with ample storage space. The mattress was purchased in June 2025.
We just set this suite up on June 26th, 2025 and almost everything in the suite is brand new. We also have additional supplies if needed.
Since this is a legal suite, you would have access to your own heating and ventilation system. We do not have air conditioner in the suite as it stays very cool in the summer.
The Neighbourhood
The suite is about a 2 minute walk from one of the best walking trails in the city, and the suite is very close to the Bow River. Angels drive-in, a popular 1950's style restaurant, is within a 3-4 minute walk to the suite. All of your necessary amenities are within a 5 minute drive. The suite is located in the NW of the city, and is about a 45 minute drive to Canmore, and a 2 hour drive to Banff, which is substantially closer than other locations in the city. The suite is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Calgary, except in rush hour traffic.
