Bamboo Breeze is a new 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat on a quiet, jungle-lined lane in Bokeelia, on the unspoiled north end of Pine Island. This is Old Florida at its best: no crowds, no high-rises, just warm breezes, world-class fishing and abundant wildlife.

Kayak calm mangrove waters alongside dolphins and manatees, fish for world-famous tarpon, bike the 18-mile island path, and watch the sunset from the pier. Pine Island is ringed by protected mangroves instead of beaches, but the water taxi from Bokeelia takes you to the pristine, crowd-free beaches of Cayo Costa State Park. Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach are about 35 miles away.

About 35 miles from RSW and PGD airports.

We had a great stay!Quiet and comfortable home. Brand new and spotless Friendly neighbors and town!We also enjoyed a day on the water with Bokeelia Water Charters and kayaking with Carmen Kayaks!A short hour drive to Naples was also a great day to Keewaydin island and dinner.

Our host was very helpful and was quick to answer any questions. The house was very accommodating and had ample supplies of basic necessities. My sisters and I were very pleased to find the home clean, well equipped and space for all the items we brought. The house truly is very delightful and I definitely recommend spending time at The House on Pine Island. We're already talking about a stay again next year!

The house was welcoming and fun to walk into. We loved every minute there. It was immaculate, relaxing, and comfortable with delightful, unique island decor. We were the first guests in this brand new house. The owners were great and thought of everything. Sweet things to do on Pine Island. A lot to do off the island. We planned this as a side trip when we were traveling but it was a true vacation. We collected seashells and swam at Bowman’s Beach on Sanibel. The water’s perfect in July! The sunset from a pier a few miles from the house was breathtaking. We asked for a late checkout so we could kayak. We explored inlets around a nearby16 acre island. It felt like we had traveled back to primordial times. Fish jumped out of the water around us. We paddled up to a huge slow tortoise, pelicans, egrets, with sounds of calling and singing birds. A great experience that I’d recommend to friends.

A perfect place on Pine Island. Brand new home on 1level, no stairs. Filtered water, great jacuzzi, comfy beds, tortoises and bunnies in the yard.
