Rustic Charm meets Storybook Enchanted Forest. This is by far the best place to come and unplug. We loved staying here. The host was so easy to work with, the scenery is 10/10 and the bed was really comfortable. We slept so well. The only sound you hear is the water rushing over the rocks. We will definitely be back.

Y'all just go ahead and book it. This place has been AMAZING! It is secluded and clean and homey. The creek and outdoor areas are beautiful and so fun! Lake Santeetlah was absolutely stunning as well. The creek was cold and hot tub was hot. Not to mention the host, Brianna was absolutely STELLAR with her communication and accommodations! This was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle. We had a fantastic time! Thank you Brianna! 10/10

I knew this cozy cabin would be just what I wanted and needed. The listing photos do not lie! I have never felt this at-home anywhere. Same for my hubby and our pup. Clean and very well-equipped. Private and quiet, except for the music from the creek and the katydids. I already miss being there.

A mix of a magical fairy forest and a picturesque Appalachian cabin, this place feels like stepping into a storybook. The sound of the babbling creek washes away every worry, and the moss-covered rocks glisten like something out of a dream. Each sunrise paints the mountains in soft gold and pink, making every morning worth waking up early for.The cabin itself is decorated to perfection, filled with antique tools and rustic furniture that stay true to its mountain charm, balanced with just the right modern comforts to make it cozy and welcoming. You can tell every detail was chosen with care.If I could, I’d pick this place a million times over. It’s pure magic.

Hi! I'm a woman Veteran, the founder of a therapeutic yoga and wellness business in Georgia, and the proud owner of The Hemlock Hideaway—my first Airbnb.

I have a passion for restoring and renovating homes and am currently bringing an old Bronco back to life. I also volunteer as a domestic violence advocate, a cause that's very close to my heart.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me rock hounding, mushroom hunting, chasing waterfalls, or writing. My favorite app is Seek—I love identifying the incredible plants, fungi, and wildlife found in the mountains. I also enjoy a great glass of wine and have yet to meet a food I didn't like!
I hope you enjoy the beauty, peace, and adventure of this special place as much as I do. Welcome to The Hemlock Hideaway!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this area because it offers the perfect balance of peace, natural beauty, and adventure. The cabin is tucked away in the mountains where you can relax to the sounds of the creek and waterfall, watch wildlife, enjoy dark starry skies, and truly unplug from the busyness of everyday life.
One of my favorite things about this area is that you're surrounded by incredible outdoor recreation. From hiking, waterfalls, kayaking, and fishing to scenic drives and Lake Santeetlah, there's always something to explore. Even the drive to the cabin is part of the experience, winding through the beautiful Nantahala Mountains.
While the setting feels like a peaceful retreat, you're still within a short drive of Robbinsville for groceries, restaurants, and other essentials.

What truly makes this property special is its setting. The cabin sits directly beside a large mountain creek with its own beautiful waterfall, creating a relaxing soundtrack throughout your stay. With access to Lake Santeetlah, canoes and a kayak for exploring, and endless opportunities for hiking, waterfalls, and wildlife, The Hemlock Hideaway is more than just a place to stay—it's a place to slow down, reconnect, and make lasting memories.
