The Brown Bear Cabin is a 2 BR, 2 Bath log cabin that is the romantic & relaxing retreat in the mountains of Virginia! Only 1 hour from Winston, 1 hour 20 min from Greensboro, and 1 hour 40 min from Charlotte.
The cabin is warm, stylish, and clean with the following amenities: Hot tub, stocked kitchen, jacuzzi bathtub, covered porches with swing, yard, grill, fireplace and even a generator for snow storms!
2 bedrooms plus a fold out couch., Playstation 5 with 2 controllers, 2 TVs....hot tub, porch swing. Both bedrooms have blackout shades. 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 minutes to the New River State Park for cycling, fishing, and canoe/kayaking. Quiet and calm with abundance of wildlife!
Perfect for romantic getaways, girls’ weekend, family vacations, and an easy escape! 10 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 minutes to New River State Trail, and New River.

The cleaning fee includes the cost to maintain the hot tub after each visit, which includes cleaning, chemicals, and periodically draining and refilling.

Perfect getaway!

Stayed for a family fishing getaway. The absolutely perfect cabin. Communication was great, communication was great, and the cabin was perfect. Will be back on our next visit.

This cabin is peacful, it has been a good weekend a way. Owner is very responsive if you have any question, ensures to make sure your good ,settled in and asked if you need anything juat let him know. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend.

This cabin was definitely beautiful and felt very homey. The inside looks exactly like the pictures advertised. It has everything you could possibly need if you happen to forget anything at home. The host was absolutely amazing and communication was great. He was very considerate, quick response, great attitude, and tended to anything we needed and made sure we got into the cabin efficiently and safely. I will be booking again for future stays and you should too!!!

The cabin was a good escape from the hustle/bustle of a work week -- quiet and slightly off the grid, surrounded by nature. It was very clean, cozy and comforable. The amenities were very good - no issues with hot water, a well-equipped kitchen, cozy bedding, good wi-fi and an nice hot tube for the cool fall evenings. Great for an individual, couple, or small group of friends looking to unplug without sacrificing comfort! Brad (the host) was very responsive with his/our communications.

My wife and I have stayed in several cabins in Tennessee and Asheville. We were completely awestruck by the attention to detail of the needs of travelers. I think I if I would have forgotten my bags, I could still survive. They seem to have thought of everything - toiletries, more towels, blankets you would need, robes, house slippers, shampoos, smell goods etc, etc. many snacks, drinks, coffee, spices- everything. The porch with the jacuzzi also came with gas fire place, grill and chairs and tables. The bed was super king and the guest room a bunk with foutons. I will be returning. Best cabin ever

Hot tub great. Couldn't get it warm in the house. Also dead bug in the bedroom and main bathroom. Also the outside yard needed a lot of the flower beds cleaned out tall weeds all thru them.
