We enjoyed this property. Very very well stocked home. Close to the lake and hill country views were amazing. Everything worked and beds were comfortable. Couldn't ask for more :)

Awesome Place

This place was so clean and had everything and more. We had a blast out on the lake. Stunning views from the porches, little too hot to be out during the day, but we were out at the lake most afternoons. Loved this property!

We had an amazing time. Home was perfect. We especially loved drinking our coffee on the patio

The layout of the home was perfect for our family of 8. We especially loved our morning coffee on the patio and seeing the occasional deer. The lake was just down the road as was the Guadalupe River. We had the best time.

time to relax and enjoy!

Great views, very welcoming and had everything I needed to relax as well as cook! Location was perfect; the rooms were a perfect size and comfortable beds! I absolutely love the owner, who was always extremely helpful and promptly gave responded to our questions. Best owner I have ever encountered! Will return!

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this conveniently located house. Beautiful setting. Coffee and games for guest. Played ping pong downstairs. Everyone has a balcony. The wildlife is amazing. Deer everywhere, birds nesting, hummingbirds just beautiful. We had a lovely visit.

Vacation

We usually don't stop going on vacation to rest. But I planned this one for only ready. It was amazing and for once myself and my daughter got along the entire time. Perfect location for our stay. Abundant deer to watch was a plus in the yard.

Well Equipped Home

Our group loved the property to celebrate my birthday. The home is very clean and has plenty of space inside and out. The balcony views were a plus. Very appreciative of how well-stocked the entire house was with the kitchen, restrooms, living room, wash room, and garage. Very close to canyon lake docks and even tube rentals with shuttles for the Guadelupe river. I would recommend this stay.

We will be back!

We had a Dwight Yoakham concert to go to and rented this B&B because it was close to the Whitewater Amphitheater he was performing in. This home was perfect! Had chairs for outside seating, plenty of space and rooms. They had games, books and movies. The Ping Pong table was so fun, and the views were amazing! We will definitely be staying here anytime we go to that venue. Maybe the boat ramp will be open and we could do a little fishing. Thank you for allowing us to use your home!

Beautiful, light, well-appointed

The bright and open house is literally one minute from Canyon Lake. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you might need. The open kitchen and excellent porches were a highlight. Every detail was considered. One bedroom and bathroom is located on the upper level with kitchen and living areas. This was perfect for my older parents as they did not have to use the stairs. Two bedrooms, a bath, and patios are located downstairs.

Perfect property in Canyon Lake

We rented this house to see a show at Whitewater Amphitheater. Perfect location and the house was wonderful. 5 minutes from venue. We also went on a great Hike around the lake & close by. The views from the porches is lovely and the house had everything we could have needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms had plenty of fluffy towels and shampoo, conditioner and soap. I really wish we could have stayed longer as there were many fun things to do near by with the river and the lake and New Braunfels so close. We were surprised to find a ping pong table in the garage but only had time to play a few games. Next time we come to see a show I hope we are able to rent this house again and stay longer!

Had a gathering with my husband, sister, her fiancé, and my cousin-in-law. It was the perfect size for us. We had a lot of fun playing lots of board games, floating the River, watching Charley Crockett at Whitewater, etc. ACs are all throughout the house, perfect for us! Parking is a little tricky, but you’re on a hill, so it’s expected. Super close, like walking distance, to the canyon lake boat ramp. Super close to Brookshire Bros for groceries. Kitchen is great size with lots of counter space. Perfect if you want to cook during your stay. Some issues with house keeping but raised these concerns with the owner who will address it. Will be returning!

Amazing view

We had a great stay at Dala Hus. The porches and the view are amazing. I had my tea on the porch every morning and it was so relaxing. The whole family enjoyed our time at Canyon Lake and we can’t wait to go back!

Can’t Wait to Book Next Year

The house was absolutely gorgeous with beautiful views of the Hill Country all around us. It was a very short drive to one of the boat ramps for Canyon Lake or a beautiful walk to take in the wildlife with deer all around us. The Denison’s are superb hosts; far and away the most accommodating hosts we’ve had to date. I would definitely recommend to any and everyone!

We built this in 2017 because we wanted a property we would really enjoy. We stay here sometimes but that usually includes doing upgrades. It has all the latest appliances, solar energy, easy to keep clean, a friendly village, many interesting venues within a few miles, and a feeling of relaxation.
