The Berkeley House Near Harbor Isle Golf Course
Welcome to The Berkeley House, your modern, fully renovated retreat in the beautiful Klamath Falls, Oregon! Our 2-bed, 2-bath home offers a quality dog friendly, resting space near the Harbor Isles Golf Course.
After a day of exploring the Klamath Basin, unwind in the cozy living area, cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or relax with your pup outdoors in the large backyard beneath the stars.
Perfect for small groups, couples and solo travelers.
There are two bedrooms total:
Bedroom on the left: This bedroom is on the compact side and has a full size bed, ceiling fan and built in wall heater.
Bedroom on the right: Queen bed, has an en suite bathroom, ceiling fan, window AC unit, built in wall heater. Note, the window AC will be removed during early fall and winter. Let our place be your hub for exploring the Klamath Basin.
The kitchen is large with all updated stainless steel appliances and offers plenty of space for cooking meals.
We have installed USB charging stations in many of the plug in fixtures throughout the home for your convenience.
There are dimmable lights throughout the home!
We have two TV`s on site, one in the living room and one in the dining room, which is viewable from the kitchen.
Free parking on site. Plenty of room in the driveway for your R.V`s, adventure vehicles, or multiple cars.
The neighborhood is eclectic and a short drive to Harbor Isles Golf Course and restaurant! There is an apartment complex near by. Some of the neighbors take great care of their yards, and others not so much. The nearest grocery store is Holiday market, which is a 7 minute drive.
Distance to various attractions throughout the basin:
• Downtown Klamath Falls - 2.5 mi / 7 minute drive to the farmers market, restaurants, shops, and nightlife.
• Moore Park & Lakeshore Trails- 1.1 mi / 3 min drive, 25 minute walk for lakefront hiking, biking and family areas.
• Crater Lake National Park - 42 mi / 45–55 min drive.
• Lava Beds National Monument — ~45 mi / ~50–60 min drive to lava tube caves and volcanic landscapes.
• AMTRAK Station - 2.9 mi / 7 min drive or 1 hour walk.
• Spence Mountain Trailhead - 11.8 mi / 17 min drive (premier mountain biking singletrack and beautiful hiking trails)
• Running Y Resort - 6.7 mi / 12–15 min drive for golf, dining & spa.
• Oregon Tech (OIT) - 1.6 mi / 5 min drive.
• Sky Lakes Medical Center -1.7 mi / 6 min drive.
• Kingsley Field ANGB -8.8 mi / 15 min drive.
• EV Charging- ChargePoint (public) - 2.6 mi / 7 min drive.
• Tesla Supercharger (2655 Shasta Way) -4.2 mi / 10 min drive.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture and owner is expected to clean pet droppings. Additional fees will be charged if there is damage caused by the pet.
-There is one mini-split unit on site and one window AC unit. The window AC unit is in the en suite, the other is in the kitchen/living room/dining room area and keeps the home cool. There are three ceiling fans, one located in every room. The smaller room to the left does not have a mini-split unit. We would suggest opening the windows in the evening, or using the ceiling fan to cool off during the summer.
- The room to the left is compact. Please take this into consideration when booking.
- The sofas are not available for guests to sleep on.
-We insure the property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection is $26 per reservation and will be included in your rental rate. This fee provides coverage for minor accidental damages during your stay, giving you peace of mind and saving you the hassle of a large upfront hold, or a tedious refund process. It’s our way of making your stay stress-free while ensuring our homes are well cared for.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture, including beds. Please pick up pet feces; a $25 fee applies if our cleaners need to.
-Quiet hours are 10 PM – 7 AM. No parties, please.
-Smoking is allowed outside only. Absolutely no smoking allowed inside, including marijuana and vape. Please ensure cigarette butts are properly disposed of.
-Please do not flush towelettes, wipes, or sanitary napkins down the toilet.
-Booking guest must be present for duration of the stay. Guests are not allowed to book on behalf of another party. Extra guests not listed in the booking need to be approved by me before entering the home. Overnight visitors can be coordinated for an extra fee.
-For safety and insurance purposes, charging electric vehicles (EVs) on the property is strictly prohibited. This includes the use of standard household outlets or extension cords. Guests are encouraged to use designated public EV charging stations nearby. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
