This 1 bedroom/1 bath oceanfront condo is the perfect St. Augustine getaway for a romantic couple or small family! Guests will never want to leave the balcony with its panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach.
If the ocean isn’t enough, you can enjoy high-speed wireless Internet access and flat-screen cable TVs. The condo has a small kitchen, stocked for your cooking needs as well.
Beacher’s Lodge is a condo-hotel on Anastasia Island in an area known as Crescent Beach, which features a smooth white sandy beach, perfect for walking and playing in the waves, yet just 9 miles south of St Augustine’s historic district. Beacher’s Lodge amenities include private beach walkway, heated oceanfront pool, picnic/grilling area, washer/dryer on premises (not in the condo), and ramp/elevator access from the spacious parking lot. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Just a short drive away, less than an hour, is Daytona Beach to the South and Jacksonville to the North. Orlando is just a 2.5 hour drive as well.

The view was amazing. It was fairly clean. Missing sheets for the pull out bed but the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook. I didn’t receive an email on how to check in but Overall I had a great stay

Unit needed cleaning and the furniture was old and needed to be cleaned. Living room lamp didn't work due to the fact the wall outlet was loose. The cost of rental was approximately 20% more than if leased through Beacher's Lodge plus if rented through Beacher's Lodge you receive weekly housekeeping and fresh towels and bed linens. The internet connection was poor to non existent. If you work and need to be on-line you are in trouble. Over all, Beacher's rate their rentals gold, silver and bronze ... this unit fell way below bronze.A two star rating is a gift. Will not return to this unit.

Thank you for your feedback. We have had a deep clean done on the condo to make sure future guests have a different experience than you felt you did. In the future, if you feel a property is in need of cleaning or any repairs are needed, I would ask that you reach out to your host so the issues can be addressed during your stay. In point of fact, the outlet that was 'loose" was just fine, but the lamp itself was not even plugged in.

While the location and view from the balcony are excellent, the unit itself needs some work. It is small. There was some initial confusion as to picking up the rental envelope; it was remedied quickly. There was no indication that we were to pick up the package at the front of the office in their basket after hours. I have not used this rental company before so I didn't know. As to the unit, the view is a 10 but the unit is a 3 at best. The kitchen area looked like it needed another cleaning. There were grease stains all over the side of the refrigerator and on the stove, in addition to the rust stains on both. The coffee pot looked like someone had just finished their morning brew. Thankfully, I brought my own.There is no storage space for your things. All the cabinets/drawers are taken up by either bed linens, cleaning supplies, or kitchens utensils. And I don't understand why the mattress was encased in a plastic bag.. Nothing like some crinkling every time you moved. In the bathroom there was a hole in the under sink cabinet wall. This created a mildew smell from there. I'm not sure how the other rentals at this condo lodge are, but I'd avoid this one until they make some improvements.

Thank you for your feedback! We have taken the following steps to make sure future guests have a batter experience. We have moved most of the items in the dresser as yes, there is very little space in these units. (although the square feet is noted in the listing.) A deep clean has been done on the entire unit, focusing on the appliances and kitchen areas. A new mattress protector has been purchased and put in place as well. I am sorry you were confused about the check in, as we send two emails prior to your arrival that clearly give the required information.

The property is incredibly beautiful, offering many amenities to enjoy. We especially enjoyed having a full kitchen and beautiful place to sit while drinking in the view.

The pool and access to the beach were good. The unit was tiny and everything was minimal and cheap. The bathroom was too small. The dresser was falling apart. The chair on the balcony was shakey. I called the property manager as I had not heard what the property address was. I called Vrbo for help with the address but couldn’t understand his Indian accent. 22 minutes on the phone

I am sorry you felt the rental was too small, but the square footage (340) IS in the ad, as are accurate photos. Yes, it is a small unit and yes, the furnishings are not top notch...but for an outstanding price, you are oceanfront on one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. You did also receive multiple emails from us upon booking, and when your final payment was made. I am sorry they do occasionally go to spam, but we have no control over that.
