Stylish Comfortable Bluegrass Cottage 7 min to Ark - Fire Pit!

Built in 1954, stylish Bluegrass Cottage has been recently renovated and modernized for your comfort and is located 7 minutes from the Ark, and 37 minutes from the Creation Museum!

Centrally located - 2 minutes away from Walmart and multiple restaurants, but still has plenty of privacy with a privacy fenced back yard, and your own propane fire pit! You'll enjoy access through the back gate to the local park with a walking path around the lake, perfect for evening strolls!
The space
Bluegrass Cottage is a comfortable 850 sq foot home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and plenty of high speed internet!

Enjoy sleeping in comfort while taking advantage of one of our three memory foam mattresses, including the memory foam mattress on our pull out sleeper sofa. Both of our bedrooms come with room darkening curtains, and in the King bedroom you can enjoy the romantic ambiance of a newly installed electric fireplace!

When you decide that it's finally time to leave the comfort of bed, you will enjoy our stocked coffee bar! Wether you like the simplicity of a Keurig, a traditional drip brewer, or a French press, you'll find each of those options available along with Keurig cups, ground coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate!

After your coffee, if you prefer to spend some time outdoors, you can relax around our gas fire pit, play some outdoor games, grill some burgers on the gas grill, or take a stroll around Lake Polliwog by exiting through our back gate and into Piddle Park. You can even do a little fishing if you have a Kentucky fishing license!

Back inside Bluegrass Cottage, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to prepare a home cooked meal (you will need to provide the groceries).

You can relax after dinner by playing a few of the provided board games, or you can sign into your favorite streaming service on the 55” Roku TV in the living room, or the 43” Roku TV in the King Bedroom.

Bluegrass Cottage has parking for 2 cars and street parking is not allowed. If you have more than 2 vehicles, please contact us and we can give you some ideas to make that work.

Depending on the time of the year, our proximity to the Lake can lead to mosquitoes showing up in the back yard, however we do provide mosquito repellent for your use.
