Our August 2015 stay at 31 Olive was our eighth in a row and, we hope to continue for many more years what has become a family tradition. As a large family, we could not ask for more from 31 Olive. For a home built in 1900 the “old Lady” shows her age well, attributable in no small part to owners that care for the house as more than just a rental but as an historic part of Rehoboth Beach and creator of cherished family memories.
Happy hours on the wrap-around porch, a bathroom for every bedroom, the large kitchen (that I wish we had at home) and large living and family rooms all contribute to a house whose character is unequaled. We especially enjoy being so close to the beach and all that happens in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Our cars rarely move during the week. There is a lot to love about this house and not the least is that, due to the layout, no one feels crowded and, with a family of 15 vacationers, that is not easy to achieve.
Everyone with the Re/Max group makes the rental process easy. Heather is always welcoming, ready to help and to answer questions before and during our visit.
I guess the only thing left to say about 31 Olive is, “See you next year.”
