Step inside and you’re greeted with bold midcentury charm — think clean lines, tropical color pops, and thoughtful touches throughout. Whether you're here for a beach getaway, a special celebration, or just to relax in style, Shady Palms was designed to make you feel right at home.



🦚 PRIMARY BEDROOM: The Peacock Room

A bold, blue-hued retreat with a king-size bed, lush tropical wall art, and private sliding glass doors that open directly to the backyard oasis. This suite includes a large closet and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, modern vanity, and bidet-equipped toilet for added comfort.



🦜 SECOND BEDROOM: The Parrot Room

Bright and breezy with cheerful tropical accents, this queen bedroom offers sunlight-filled windows, built-in USB ports, a smart speaker, and a spacious closet. It's cozy yet functional — perfect for relaxation or remote work.



🦩 THIRD BEDROOM: The Flamingo Room

Whimsical, pink, and full of personality — this queen bedroom is always a guest favorite. It features comfortable bedding, playful wall art, ceiling fan, and generous storage space with a midcentury twist.



🛋 Living Room

Unwind in the stylish living area with a large smart TV, modern sofas, and curated art pieces — ideal for lounging, streaming, or sharing cocktails after a dip in the jacuzzi.



🍽 Dining Area & Kitchen

Enjoy dinner under a show-stopping bubbly glass chandelier in the dining room, or chat with the chef at the kitchen barstools while prepping meals. The fully equipped kitchen includes all the essentials (plus a few extras) to make cooking fun and effortless.

Step outside to your lush, completely private backyard featuring a heated pool, jacuzzi, and tropical landscaping. Jasmine hedges and swaying palms make this space feel like a boutique resort — perfect for morning coffee, afternoon swims, or evening dips under the stars.



📍 LOCATION

Just a short walk or 3-minute drive from Wilton Drive, you’ll have access to Fort Lauderdale’s best LGBTQ+ nightlife, brunch spots, local boutiques, and coffee shops. The beach is only 10–15 minutes away, and downtown Fort Lauderdale is close for museums, shopping, and the Las Olas Riverwalk.



Important Notes:

*Pool and jacuzzi heating is available upon request for $35 per day and must be paid out for your entire reservation. The heating for both the pool and jacuzzi is one central system and therefore they cannot be heated simultaneously. Please message your host whenever you would like to switch the heating from our output to another.

*A pool technician services the pool and jacuzzi once per week on a weekday between 8am–5pm. They will access the backyard briefly during that time.

*South Florida is a tropical environment, and it’s normal to occasionally see insects or small wildlife (such as lizards), even with regular pest control. If you notice anything during your stay, please let me know right away so I can address it promptly.

*The pool is professionally serviced 1–2 times per week to ensure water quality and cleanliness. Because the property is surrounded by beautiful mature trees (welcome to tropical Florida!), you may occasionally notice a few leaves in the water between services. This is completely normal and does not affect the cleanliness or safety of the pool — it’s simply part of the natural environment.
