Mary and Terri texted us prior to arrival with several tips to prepare for our trip. The property was easy to find with their great directions. The cabin was quaint and perfect for our family of four, plus our 2 Golden Doodles. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. We appreciated having things like oil, foil and seasonings as it is hard to fit everyone and everything into one vehicle, no matter the size. The beds were comfy! The porch was delightful for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We brought smore makings and enjoyed the fire-pit, which was prepared and ready to go. The access to the water for swimming and Paddleboarding was a huge plus! Mary and Terri even made a recommendation for a local marina to pick us up to rent a boat. That was extra nice! This cabin was clean and perfect for a weekend getaway, but the best part was the very kind hosts that were available for any question we might have. We would definitely come again and will send our friends! Lovely lovely lake cabin that is super dog friendly, down to the built in gates on the porch. :). Thank you!

Everything was perfect! This was our third time staying at this amazing cabin on the lake. It has everything we need and just steps away from the lake. We even launch our boat right in front. This place has become our favorite spot for our annual family trip to the lake. Can’t wait until next time!

Owners had excellent communication . Kitchen was well stocked, WiFi, the cabin was awesome with a great view of the lake ! The owners were so accommodating. My family had an amazing time and will stay again .

We had a wonderful time

We have stayed in many VRBOs, and this was one of our favorites. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The pictures in the listing do not do justice for how nice this property is.Mary and Terry were great hosts. They live next door, and are helpful if you need something, but they are not intrusive. We stayed for 10 days over the 4th of July holiday. It was perfect! But, be forewarned, this is an isolated location that is a long way from restaurants and shopping. We stopped in Forsyth and got groceries at the country market. It was not a great grocery store, but had most of what you would need for a few days of meals. We cooked our dinners over the fire pit using a campfire grill that I brought. It was great! We went to Branson twice, it’s about an hour away, and had fun there. Most of our time was spent swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking on the lake. If you are looking for a laid back vacation where you can unplug from city life, this is the perfect spot. My family is united in giving this property a 5 star rating. We hope to be back!

Bull Shoals cabin

Very relaxing. Beautiful views. Daily visits from deer, rabbits, hummingbirds and little lizards that the dog found very entertaining.

Family get away

Truly peaceful and nice property. About and hr to Branson. But we enjoyed staying around the cabin cooking and playing games.

Quiet and Relaxing

We were looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and found the perfect place at this cabin. This was just what we needed - peaceful and quiet and beautiful natural scenery. We brought two small dogs and absolutely loved the gated deck that allowed the dogs to be outside with us and not have to worry that they'd run away.

Great relaxing vacation

We enjoyed the view of the lake and watching the many hummingbirds every morning over coffee. The host were fantastic! The cabin was clean and comfortable,nicely decorated. The kitchen is nicely stocked with cookware. We also enjoyed sitting around the campfire in the evengs.

Peaceful scenic lakeside getaway

This is a very cozy and peaceful place to stay and experience Bull Shoals Lake. The lake itself is pristine and quiet. Hardly any boats at all even on a weekend. Amazing view of the lake from the cabin and nature all around. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go back.

Perfect Get-away

My wife and I had a perfect vacation here! Peaceful and quiet. A nice walk down to the rocky area to sit ans float in the water to keep cool. The host was very helpful and friendly. Would definitelylove to come back!.

Awesome again! Location is amazing

Enjoyed our second visit to this cabin. Once again everything was perfect. Location is amazing if peaceful, secluded, and easy access to the lake is what you are looking for. It’s shocking how quiet this part of the lake is, we probably only saw a handful of boats out in the four summer days we were there. It’s a nice change from the bigger lakes in the area that are very crowded and rowdy. We felt like we had the lake all to ourselves! Exactly what we were looking for. We had a few hot sunny days and spent all day on the lake, but also has a rainy day and enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and watching the storm move in and rain on the lake. Beautiful and relaxing all around. It’s a long drive to the nearest town so bring everything you need with you (or a quick boat ride to the marina). The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The cabin was nicely stocked with anything we needed for cooking, rainy days, campfires… The kids are begging to come back in the fall, they can’t wait a whole year until next summer! Next visit to Bull Shoals we will definitely come back to this cabin!

Incredible!

We were looking for a quiet getaway for the 4th of July weekend with easy access to some nice water, and this cabin lived up to all expecations. The huge porch with built in gates was a dream for our family (including the dog). We spent all of our time in the lake and enjoyed the walk down to our own little private rock beach. The kitchen was stocked with eveything you could need to make dinner and the gas grill and laundry were so convient. The beds were so comfortable and the entire place was neat and clean. The views and quiet of the lake and country were just a cherry on top of a gem of a cabin. Can't wait to come back and stay again!

Exceeded expectations!

Beautiful views from the nice covered deck and short walk to the lake below to the dock and nice swimming area! The cabin was well stocked and cozy! Will definitely be back!

FABULOUS family vacation at the lake

Mom, Dad, 20 year old and 13 year old sons, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, 2 dogs and 17 ft sailboat arrived on Monday afternoon to a clean, cozy cabin with plenty of sleeping options, a tidy bathroom and kitchen with lots of pots & pans, baking pans, utensils. We had a blast sailing and floating in the water off of the point; which we accessed by foot and 4x4. Mary and Terry provided lots of helpful info prior to our arrival and were very responsive. Highly Recommended!

Supplies stolen.

Very cute cabin, but was unsure about the stability in the structure. Woke up and could see daylight with 1/4 cracks in the walls. Had fishing supplies stolen while we stepped away for a few moments. Also very loud equipment was running pretty well the whole time there. The cabin isn’t as private as the listing implies. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions and very informative/ helpful of things to do in the area.
