Guests will have exclusive use of the entire property.

The Neighborhood:
Yokun Avenue is a quiet street. We are a short walk to town and less than a mile and a half from Tanglewood's main entrance.

Getting Around:
Most guests visiting Berkshire County usually rent or drive a car to their destination. Outside of a personal vehicle, the transportation options here consist of some public bus service, limited taxi service and limousine services. If you intend not to drive, the Maple house is unique in its location close to the center of Lenox (0.5 mi) where Peter Pan bus tickets may be purchased at the Lenox Village Pharmacy for transportation to Boston, NYC, Providence and several other destinations. The closest airports are Albany (ALB) in NY about 1 hour away, and Bradley (BDL) in Hartford, CT about 75 minutes away. The closest train stations are Wassaic, NY (Metro North) and Hudson, NY (Amtrak).

Other Things to Note:
To ensure a seamless and secure experience, all guests will be screened prior to check-in and asked to sign a house rules agreement.

Please keep in mind that The Maple House is nestled in the countryside of Lenox. The house is impeccable but you are in the country. The natural surroundings everywhere in the Berkshires may include occasional encounters with deer, flies, and other wildlife. This is part of the charm of country living, and we appreciate your understanding.

Additionally, no smoking is permitted indoors. For guests with allergies, we offer a welcoming environment with hardwood floors, honeycomb shades, and two area rugs that can easily be removed upon request.
