Poplar on the Hill is a thoughtfully designed 1 bed/1 bath modern cabin that sleeps 2–4 guests. Cozy up by the electric fireplace, soak in the private outdoor hot tub, or unwind on the deck with peaceful hilltop views. The cabin features:

In our opinion the location was a perfect blend of far enough from town but close enough to everything. Nice secluded cabin with enough privacy to feel like you were away from everyone and everything. Cabin was clean and well kept with every amenity available. Only minus was the mattress but thats really not fair because we are mattress snobs and are fussy in that area. Still a 10/10 and if we return to the area will book again!

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the place. It was nice, clean and comfortable. Its private but yet close to places to visit. We will come back soon. It was not enough time to explore this wonderful part of Ohio.

Wonderful weekend get away! The cabin was cozy and well appointed. The hot tube was excellent. We got a little mixed up on the location at check in (there are a couple properties on the property, but nicely secluded from each other). The manager responded promptly and helped us find the right location. We were very pleased with the experience.

The cabin is just ok. No personal touches, no thoughtful extras. Very average.The hot tub was drained upon arrival and when we reached out to the host- response time was not only very slow- but there was zero attempt at trying to let us know if it might be fixed before our stay was over… we sent photos bc they still thought it was up and running fine. Showed them there was zero water in it. I kept having to ask her for updates. Really no apology or effort to make it right on their part. I picked that one based on it having a working hot tub. Management was very avoidant and did not care about our experience which was a shame bc we weren’t even mean about it. I messaged after our stay was over on a few other items they would want to address before the next guest… no response.Overall it’s a nice, exterior and setting.. but the inside had a foul smell stemming from the bathroom, the furniture set up is odd and the whole place is just kind of cold and no cozy touches or the desire to really help guests have a great stay are present.You can just tell it’s not a passion for them. Purely transactional. It would benefit them greatly if they added more than one mirror- possibly in the bedroom or entry area, doormats, wall hooks, faux plants, better coffee mugs….again, thoughtful extras especially when it’s not easy to get to anywhere for items. it’s just very basic.If you stay here bring your own- tp, paper towels, lighter, room spray.
The broom was out in the entry upon arrival with dust bunnies
The overhead light control did not work.
There were 2 kitchen sponges- neither of which was new in package.
