Great stay! Super impressed with the rental company. The user friendly technology provided was very helpful to learn the area and gave quick access to all info needed. Enough room, perfect view from balcony, easy walk to beach, wish I would have brought extra chairs they are over priced to rent everyday in my opinion. Not much to do right there for kids, but 15 min. around the corner in Destin there is plenty and it is easy to get to- other than traffic can get a little crazy. I would stay Gina in a heart beat though !!

Condo was in pristine condition. Had all the amenities you could ever need. Lovely porch with rockers and 6 chairs total. We loved the recliners in living room.

Enjoyed Our Visit!

We very much enjoyed our stay in 4005! The property was everything we needed - great views, great location, loved the size of the balcony and not too many people. The property provided the necessities outside of beach towels (as indicated in the rental agreement). The only deduction we made was because there was still sand on the floor when we got there, so we had to do a little sweeping to walk barefoot immediately upon our arrival.

Had to put the mattress on the floor. On July 4, the umbrellas around the pool should have been up. Even after we asked the desk, mid to late morning they said the pool maintenance people had left early. That wasn’t acceptable poor management.

Accurate listing

Condo was just as described. There was plenty of towels and dishes and everything. The room has a beautiful view. Due to its inset, you can’t see sunrise/sunset from the balcony. The master bed was firm upon laying down but softened nicely and was very comfortable. The beach service was very nice to have.

We enjoyed playing golf at Regatta Bay, which is one of the free amenities offered with this rental, and eating at Stewby’s just down the street! Great location. The check in/out process was easy and the property managers were very helpful.

We had 2 adult couples on the trip and all the 2 bedrooms I found had a master but the second room was twins or bunk beds. This condo has 2 king beds. Easy parking, easy access to the beach, free beach chairs/umbrella, great pool too. The area is much quieter than Destin. We drove to Destin for shopping at Destin Commons, some activities and night life. I will definitely be staying at this condo again. Management is very courteous and helpful.

We have been coming to the Islander for many years and we have rented many Condos in the building and have never been disappointed. Our recent stay was great. The Condo was clean, comfortable and exactly what I expected. I loved the rocking chairs on the balcony. Our coffee maker was not working so I called and a new one was brought right away. Love the Islander resort, the view is second to none. Always visit McGuires Irish, The Donut Shop and Back Porch Restaurants in Destin. But always stay on Okaloosa Island at the Islander. Will be back again next year.

We enjoyed the patio furniture. It was clean and comfortable, just like home. The beds were comfy and perfect for our family of 5, two adults and three young kids. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the appliances and cookware we needed. Our only complaint is with the dryer. It seemed old. It was noisy and left rust stains on a few items. Overall our stay was wonderful! We will definitely book with Brooks and Shorey again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our unit. It was clean and well kept. The kitchen has any appliance, pan, or cooking utensil you could possibly need. The view is amazing. When checking in our room we noticed the back door lock was broken off. They had someone look at it right away and he was back the next morning to fix it! Everyone was very nice and efficient. My daughter left her wallet and we didn’t notice until we were too far to turn around. When we asked for them to mail it to us they immediately had the wallet and it was in the mail being sent back to us that afternoon! So thankful for their kindness! We will definitely be back!

Islander 4005

The condo was on Okaloosa Island in a quieter area and had a beautiful view of the sand and water. There were windows in the living areas so you could see the lovely view even if you weren't on the extra wide balcony. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and nicely appointed. The condo was adequately furnished and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes available. The 2 king size beds were comfortable. The baseboards throughout were dirty though and needed painting. The floor of the closet in the 2nd bedroom was totally full of beach chairs and a ginormous bag of pillows. There was no room on the closet floor for guests things at all such as shoes or suitcases. One of the 2 elevators was broken the entire time and the 2nd elevator broke just as we arrived. We had to carry all of our luggage and groceries up the stairs to the 4th floor. The 2nd elevator was repaired within an hour of our arrival. There was a lot of work being done on our wing of the building and dust was everywhere outside the building especially on the stairs. Sometimes it was hard to breathe in the common areas. In spite of the construction, the condo was fairly quiet when we were inside.
