The host put a lot of time and care into organizing, decorating, and ensuring the guests have everything they need. Everything was labeled and clearly organized. The space was well coordinated and decorated with cute beach apparel. Thoughtful extras were included like a bottle of wine and a welcome card, and extra toiletries a guest may have forgot. The property was also equipped with all of the beach gear you could need (surf boards, boogie boards, bikes, etc).

Excellent location and although a bit small, it was perfect for myself and my adult son. We had some issues with noise from the people renting the unit above, but Raheem was excellent in responding and addressing the issues. I also appreciated the sundries and toiletries provided as we somehow forgot a couple of things. Will be back for sure when visiting LA in the future.

This place is a gem! The studio feels spacious and airy and was so amazingly well stocked. Cookware, Tupperware, beach supplies, toiletries, chargers, board games, kids toys and even a play station. Our son loved that! The gate and driveway made for easy parking and loading and unloading. The beds were comfy and it was nice they were both king size. We loved the location and took daily walks. It was super fast to the beach even with kids. We already booked next year!

This one room studio unit is in a great location just across the street from the beach. It was clean and check-in was very easy. I was a bit concerned about other reviews saying you could hear the people walking in the other unit above. I did experience some noise from the upstairs tenants. Also, I am a big sports fan and was not able to watch live TV. There is a large TV in the unit. But it only has apps rather than major networks and channels such as ESPN. All in all it was a great visit and I hope to stay here again in the future thank you to my hosts.

Our family had such a great time. I rate this as a five star experience. We headed out to the beach which was amazingly close and had a blast. We could come and go from the beach which was perfect for us. We loved the out front Bbq and fire place. We played games (which our host supplied in our room) and enjoyed ourselves very much. If laundry is mandatory, make sure to ask the host if it is working. The dryer was not working when we were there. Our family wants to come back. Thank you for an amazing family vacation.

What the listing doesn't tell you is that there is a wonderful outdoor space right outside your door (literally) including sofas, a big dining table and a grill......and that you cannot use it if the upstairs is rented. So, for the first 3 nights is was great. We had our little studio with the outdoor area. With 4 people that was really great. The clothes dryer was not working so being able to put all 4 wet beach towels and 4 bathing suits out to dry really helped. Especially since there really is no room inside for the shower towels and hand towels to begin with....for 4 people.Our 4th night was terrible. The upstairs was rented. Music and walking around heard real well until late and then early morning. No more outside area to use and trapped inside the small studio. I did not go to California to be stuck inside. Luckily, we were leaving in the morning. The upstairs renters also get a garage full of games, corn hole, paddle tennis, football, frisbees. These renters complained to the host that our vehicle was parked in the driveway so they could not park. Well, it wasn't in their way to park their vehicle-they wanted to set up game time. They played games all evening right next to our vehicle. The beds were super comfortable. Very clean overall. Host was accessible as needed. There are many thoughtful items around and well decorated. The A/C is wonderful. A fan or two would be recommended not just for cooling, but to drown out upstairs noise of the renters if needed.

Thank you for recognizing the cleanliness, comfortable beds, amenities, and our responsiveness. We’re sorry the noise from the upstairs guests affected your final night. When you contacted us about it, we offered to intervene, but unfortunately did not hear back; had we known the disturbance continued, we would have immediately enforced our quiet-hours policy. We’d also like to clarify that studio guests may use the outdoor area when the main house is occupied—we simply ask guests to coordinate with us because it is shared. Each unit also has a designated parking space. We appreciate the feedback and are improving our communication around these arrangements for future guests.

Overall this was a good stay. Raheem has thought of everything, and the unit was clean. Initially we had a little trouble with the keypad getting in, but Raheem was very responsive and we got it straightened out. There were nice touches, like toiletries and a bottle of wine to welcome us. This is a basement unit, and you can hear the people upstairs walking around. We were blessed with quiet and considerate tenants above us throughout our stay, so noise wasn’t a problem. The location can’t be beat!!

This property has everything you need for an incredible stay: well appointed kitchen, stackable washer/dryer with laundry detergent; beach towels, chairs, and sand toys; bathroom also is well stocked with anything you might need. Easy access to the Village for shopping and restaurants. Access to the beach is less than a five minute walk. Also, property was immaculate with easy off street parking in driveway. Will definitely stay here again!
