This was the perfect little crashpad for my buddy and I after long draining days of experiencing everything the city has to offer, and attending every live show our favorite band played while they were in LA that week. Awesome value and wonderful host doesn’t smother you AT ALL, in fact they even have a genius, contactless, instant check-in system. Also so nice not needing to try and hide when blazing. Would definitely stay again, thanks!!

It was dirtier, darker, and less nice than the listing. Wifi didn’t work but host was quick to respond and gave us a different wifi in the building. Host was very kind and responded promptly!

Lights were not all functioning and there were no batteries in the remote for the A/C, but everything else about this property was really cool. The old Hotel setting made for an unforgettable leg of the trip. I wish there was a little more on the history of the building available, but I will probably make it a point to stay here again when in LA in the future. Definitely walkable to some great restaurants but the limited street parking should definitely be better addressed as the listing makes it feel as thought there is a parking lot nearby and that is very much not the case. It also wouldn't hurt to have a printout of door/checkout procedures physically in the room as there is no clear section for it on the VRBO listing, you have to kind of dig through your reservation to find it. All in all, great stay at a cool location, would rent again.
