Small small world…we found out that Mrs Flaugh owned the condo when we arrived inside and her and my mom had been life long friends until her passing.

It was a nice condo for our family of 6. Enough space for all of us! I like the separate entrance to the balcony from the primary bedroom because we had kids sleeping on the couch bed and we didn’t disturb them having coffee in the morning. We purchased the additional pass to the clubhouse but didn’t use it much. Unless you work out or need an indoor pool. The game room in the clubhouse was ok. My kids only used it once. Overall it was a great stay. The grounds were well kept, clean and nice.

Clean, great sized condo

We visited with our niece, nephew and two of their friends last week. The unit was clean, had plenty of space to hang out in the common area, but not crowded. The pantry was very nice to have as most units only have the kitchen cabinets (which are full of dishes, cookware ,etc.) Plenty of silverware and utensils/cookware as well. Nice view of the beach. Would 100% stay here again.

Issues

The Beach Club is fantastic but this unit has issues. Pam is great to work with so try a different one of her units at The Beach Club.

Overall great trip!

First time at this condo. We always love staying at the Beach Club. We were here during hurricane Nate and felt safe in the condo. Had a problem with the tiles, but my daughter and I are a little OCD about floors. I had to sweep and wipe them down everyday. Overall this was a good condo and I would definitely recommend it. Our rental agent was very wonderful too!!!

The Beach Club Resort was beautiful but our particular condo was disappointing.

The Resort was beautiful and the beach was wonderful but the condo itself was disappointing in that the appliances, finishes and furntiture were old and in fair condition. The kitchen was very poorly stocked without some basic dishes and cooking supplies and what was in there was of poor quality. We had a very tiny, miniature broom but no dustpan which is irritating when you are at the beach and track in a lot of sand. I would stay at The Beach Club Resort again but not in this particular unit.

Needs a facelift and some TLC

The condo was run down, dirty, and there was brown water coming from our sinks and toilets for days during our stay. The property manager responded once when contacted AFTER the brown water, but never again after that. The refrigerator does not close well and randomly popped open, and was filthy on the top (my husband was at eye level to see it) and let’s not mention the floor and light switches that have years of crud attached. This room also has the most ancient of appliances. I suppose the “renovation” it went through was invisible. The King en suite bathroom NEVER produced a hot shower, Luke warm temp at best. The pillows left in closets for extra use are gross. Just throw them away! We have stayed with Keller in Avalon before and we’re extremely satisfied, but this may have been the last stay at the beach club since there is no real guarantee you are getting the same quality as before. For those of you who don’t mind the dirt, the room was livable just not as advertised.

Beach club condo review

Between our two couples we have rented a unit in the D building at the Beach Club at least 10 times. This is the first time we have rented this unit. While we enjoyed our vacation, and the weather was perfect, I can’t say the same thing about condo.. These are some items that should be addressed: The floor was dirty. Wearing white socks after one day indicated that. The dishes were not clean. Our hint was when a clean plate from the cabinets was greasy. The pillows in all the bedrooms are flat and rubbery. They need to be replaced. The popcorn plaster ceiling is falling in the Master Closet. The popcorn ceiling in the 2nd bathroom tub will fall in the near future The slider door to the deck is extremely difficult to slide. A chair in the Master Bedroom would be good. Having a place to sit while putting on shoes, etc. would be helpful. The Master Bedroom door sticks. The mattresses in all of the bedrooms have seen better days. They should be replaced. The Unit generally seems worn and tired looking.

Cute Place on the Beach

Cute 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, and perfect view of the beach. The half bath is a plus. Wonderful to stay at the beach all day and have a comfortable condo to relax at.

Family Vacay

We had a great time at Doral 506. Our family enjoyed having the beach view and a short walk down the walkway to get to the beach. The music and food trucks are very nice. We will definitely come back.

Great family vacation!

Our family had a great time staying at the Doral! The Gulf views were spectacular and very relaxing sitting on the balcony and taking in the stars at night. Highly recommend!

Relaxing stay

We totally enjoyed our stay in Doral 506! The location is a little farther out that I realized. It was about a 15- 20 min drive to town for stores and food. I liked being in the condo unit on the end of a row of condos so we could spread out a little away from the crowd right in front of the units. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Balcony is a nice size with a good view of both the pool and the beach.
