We’re return visitors to this property and love its central location. Views are great and the grounds are carefully maintained. The trade winds keep the condo very comfortable so we don’t need the A/C. The condo has just about everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owners are always available if you need something.

Host was great! They sent us ideas of places to visit, but just staying on the property was very relaxing too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for the four of us and we would definitely stay there again.

Lots of very good amenities. Many beach amenities which we did not use. Good towels. Everything anyone would need for cooking and cleaning. Fairly quiet building. Nice small pool and carefully kept grounds between our building and section across from us.

The condo was in a wonderful location to access everything we were planning to do. Loved that it was stocked with so many amenities that we would’ve had to run out and purchase. Our host was fabulous and worked with us when we had a need. We loved using the pool every night after dinner.

Aloha! This was a great centrally-located condo for exploring Maui. However, we were disappointed to see that the beach directly in front of the condo, as shown in the photos and highlighted in the advertised condo description, is no longer there, and even the stairs are long-gone. In order to access the beach, due to the eroded/washed out seashore and missing stairs, a 5-minute walk down the road and through a park is necessary. This was not difficult or unpleasant, but frustrating since we thought we would have direct access to the beautiful beach as pictured. The grounds of the condo are beautifully kept and very peaceful. The location is quiet, and many beautiful blooming flowers all around. Inside the condo, we were pleased with how well stocked everything was. However, the toaster was broken and we found the bedding in the secondary bedroom to be well-worn and old; both beds were very comfortable though! One of the ceiling fans stopped working, which increased the inside humidity, and there was only an AC in the living room, which did not help in the bedrooms. We could not find a fuse-box, likely locked inside a closet. Some of the beach chairs were very tired/broken and need to be replaced, but we were happy to have them to use during our outings. We struggled with ants in the kitchen, despite keeping everything very tidy, but that is somewhat expected in the tropics. However, additional cleaning products (wipe/spray) and a dish-drying rack would have been helpful.

The house was nicely maintained but the air conditioning only cooled the living room and with the fan the closest bedroom. The fans for the bedroom near the kitchen was very Jo and fans did not work well. The sliding door was impossible to lock.

This condo has everything! We had all the supplies we needed, and it was fantastic.It is extremely well located, with walking distance to the beach and to great restaurants and stores. Driving distance to other places. Check in and out was easy. Super clean. Beds were super comfortable! The only challenge for us was the main room - we let our son have the big fans which mean that we were toasty in the main bedroom. Other than that, we had a blast!!!

Just like home

Barb and Larry thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and like home! There are so many extras from the kitchen to bedding extras to pool and beach supplies! Everything is clean and well maintained. Their communication during our stay was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable that I wanted to bring it home with me! Ha! You can tell they are proud tobe sharing their space. And view was gorgeous! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful getaway

Excellent accommodations, centrally located. Everything is supplied in condo, including towels, beach chairs, snorkles, detergent for washing machines, etc. Communication with owners was very good. Best thing about the condo…watching whales from our deck. Highly recommend this place.

BEAUTIFUL CONDO, IDEAL LOCATION

What a lovely unit, we were really happy staying here. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped. It's a short walk to end of the street and a beautiful beach park. The unit is nicely equipped with beach toys. Mahalo to Barb and Larry for sharing their Hawaii Hale!

Everything you could want!

This is an amazing property. Perfect location. Right on the beach listen to the waves at night. The beach is over two miles long for walking. Snorkeling right off condo with turtles. Beautiful views.

Summer Paradise

Excellent vacation spot! We had a great time at this peaceful location. Owners provided many supplies and amenities like boogie boards, floaties, sand toys and beach chairs. We've been happily married since 1984 (over 30 years) and have two wonderful daughters and a super grandson and granddaughter. We both recently retired and wanted a place in the sun. Larry was an engineering manager and Barb was a rental property manager. Together we love vacations, love the sun/beach, and understand how to manage properties. This seemed like a perfect fit to buy a place on Maui and rent it out to old & new friends.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We visited Maui when our kids were younger and loved the area. After visiting a newly transplanted friend there in the fall of 2012 we decided to see if we could find a place of our own. Luck was on our side and we were able to find this beautiful condo in 2013. We spent five very long weeks remodeling the unit to update it and then because the unit was empty when we purchased it we got to completely furnish it from the beds & couches down to the plates and silverware. Everything was bought new.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We actually bought this condo sight-unseen because we knew the area. Location, location, location, right? The condo sits right on the most beautiful and longest beach on Maui. What makes our condo unique is that it's literally at the beginning of a 4.5 mile sandy beach and most of the beach is on a nature preserve so there are only two other condos on the beach. This provides unbelievable seclusion yet is close to everything on Maui!

There are three main areas on Maui and we're in the middle of all three. To the NW is Lahaina/Kaanapali, to the SE is Kihei/Wailea, and to the N is Kahului. Lahaina/Kaanapali is terrible to stay at because it's too hard to drive to/from so your stuck there. Almost all of the condos in Kihei/Wailea is across a very busy road from the beach so it's no good to stay there. Kahului is the industrial part of Maui so that's not a good place to stay. Maalaea is the best of all worlds. Peaceful with only 10 condo complexes in the area. Right on a sandy beach so no busy highway to cross. Easy to access and easy to venture to everywhere else on the island. It really is the best of all.
