The Waterfall Cabin was such a unique experience. The house was located on a waterfall. How cool is that? The large glacial boulders and the waterfall that extended from the back to the front yard created a fantastic backdrop for our family vacation. The house itself was centrally located to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and offered privacy after the busyness of our daily adventures. As mentioned by other renters, there are some issues with the floor and shower in the master bedroom. While the house itself was clean, the outdoor decks had not been swept. That wasn’t really an issue for us, but something to be aware of. The kitchen was beautifully updated however I wish there had been more bowls and silverware. In total there were 5 bowls. Since there were 5 of us, 3 of which were teens, I felt like I was constantly doing dishes. I know the listing suggested a preference for using the dishwasher, but it felt wrong to run the dishwasher with only a few items in it. My advice to the next renters might be to bring disposable plates, bowls and silverware. The biggest thing missing from the kitchen was a set of potholders. So, I’d recommend packing those too. All in all, the location and uniqueness of this house is a 10. We would stay here again without hesitation.
