プライバシーを保ちながらリラックスしておくつろぎください。 Villa Kunang-Kunang（Firefly）は新しく建てられた、広々としたオープンコンセプトのヴィラで、2つのベッドルーム、2つのバスルーム（両方とも屋外シャワーあり）が美しいプールと壁に囲まれた庭園の周りに建てられています。 理想的な場所は、庭園の小道を通ってアクセスできるBintang Supermarketの裏側にあり、ウブドのダウンタウンの喧騒から離れたところにありますが、タクシーでわずか15分または徒歩15分です。

Dont be frightened off by the directions! This location is just a few minutes from the insanity of central Ubud, but a world away in terms of grace and design. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. Dont miss out on waling the small path that runs behind the villas (parallel to the busy street but tucked up on the hillside) to see some amazing scenery hidden up off the mainstreet. There are even a couple of cool cafes up there.

The villa was great. It had a grocery store near by and is within walking distance to the downtown area. It was safe and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings comfortable. The team taking care of the house was attentive and the communication was easy. Thank you!

A wonderful villa, fully equipped and with a splendid pool. A true oasis of relaxation just 2 km from the bustling center of Ubud. Absolute silence reigns, as it is located in a private area. I highly recommend it.

Super peaceful.

Beautiful property, no street noise, only sounds from birds and neighborhood kids. bathrooms are indoor/outdoor and was neat having a birdsnest feet away from the shower, watching the mothe feeding her babies. Lots of geckos too. Air conditioning was great, as was pool. Much needed with humidity there. Close to supermarket and a few warungs. Far enough from chaos of ubud, but close enough for easy visits thanks for the great stay

Tranquil hideaway with proximity to many things

This villa was perfectly located and appointed for two friends looking for a peaceful getaway. It’s in Ubud, far enough from the center of town to be relaxed and quiet but closed enough to be able to get many places (including some GREAT restaurants) by walking or within an inexpensive taxi ride away. The beds were very comfortable. If you stay, explore the restaurants along the hidden walkway behind the villa. We loved it here, and we are so glad we chose this beautiful villa and location on our first trip to Bali. The house managers were amazing and helpful and Julianne was very responsive. You won’t regret staying here!

Great location to grocery store restaurants and away from tourist area. Close to rice paddies and short hikes. Drivers were exceptional- punctual and easy to communicate with. Juanita always replied to me very promptly. Great vrbo

Amazing space and location!!

This property is incredibly well designed and located in the best spot. Bintang market is well stocked with everything you could need. Don’t over pack on shampoo, bug, sunscreen etc. you can buy it there. Walkable to great spa’s and Arcadia restaurant. Also a pickup spot for viator tours. Hosts and property managers are awesome. Place is cleaned daily and amenities are all you could need. I’ll be back!!!

Amazing location, lovely villa

Loved our stay here. We stayed in fancy hotels in other areas but nothing beat our time in Ubud in this villa. The pool is bigger than it looks, it outdoor showers are great. There’s minimal kitchen inventory but enough to make a few meals. We didn’t know the two rooms are in in either end of the house. As o

Fabulous pool villa

My 2nd stay at this amazing villa…an oasis of tranquility but within easy walking distance of everything Ubud has to offer. Two large double bedrooms with super comfy beds, each with large semi-outdoor en suites, great outdoor space with pool and well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. I just love it and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I will be back.

Annual Retreat

The property is conveniently located in a very quiet well maintained private estate, understated and adjacent to a rice padi. Serenity is the tone and the greatest noise will come from the padi activity teaming with birds, frogs and chickens passing through. There are no motorbikes allowed in the zone and this adds to the harmony. The Bali Bintang supermarket is the nearest landmark and the Yellow Flower Cafe will become part of your daily meal ritual. We love it. Suksma!

Beautiful and Peaceful Villa

The villa was as pictured and had all the amenities in the listing…please note that this is a Balinese style villa and therefore the kitchen, dining area and sofa area are all open to the air - this meant that mosquitoes were out and biting at dinner time…. it is located behind a supermarket with a path to the side and behind the market. The market is great and has many American and European foods along with local foods. The pool area is tranquil and we used it regularly. This was a great area - close enough to downtown Ubud (about 15 minute walk) but with privacy and peace…. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great spot

Very nice spot. A bit off the road so quiet, but you have to haul your luggage a little ways. Grocery store and a few restaurants near is great, but a longer walk or drive to most restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

An amazing and memorable little haven.

The photos in the advert. do not do it justice. A beautiful, spacious villa. Tranquillity... Situated in a great spot totally apart from the the busy and hectic streets of central Ubud, close enough but not too close. Juli drove me to and from the airport and was my contact during my stay. Very helpful and courteous, just a really nice bloke and one of the few careful drivers in Bali. The lovely lady who serviced the villa was also excellent. Also very helpful and courteous and kept the villa spotless during my stay. I felt very well looked after by these 2 gems. A unique getaway experience. Stuart.

A lovely stay in a gorgeous villa.

The 2 bedroom villa was perfect for 2 'senior citizens'. There are nice eateries just a short walk away from the villa despite it being situated down a quite lane away from street noise and traffic. The manager Ketut was there to meet us and there to farewell us after out stay of 4 days - not long enough!

Luxurious and quiet Ubud retreat

The villa is tucked down a quiet laneway behind a bustling main street providing an ideal base for exploring Ubud. The laneway continues to a rice field and further along there is dense jungle. The villa is tranquil being behind a high masonry wall. The open air bathroom is sensational. The pool is the central feature with all habitable spaces opening onto a courtyard containing the pool. The villa is conveniently located being not far from a good supermarket with a range of western food and wine and is also a short walk to restaurants and spas . The palace in central Ubud is walking distance if you are feeling energetic and otherwise a short taxi ride. Housekeeping were so kind to carry our bags up the stairs upon checkin and check out. I would recommend it as the perfect Ubud retreat.

My husband Paul and I are Canadians living and working in sunny Los Cabos, Mexico. We took our first trip to Bali in the fall of 2012 and were instantly enchanted. I'm not sure if I could pick which aspect of Bali we love the most. The people, the culture, the architecture, the food and the natural beauty are all unparalleled.
It was on this first trip that we met our great friend Ketut and his beautiful family. Ketut and his wife Made also manage the villa and he is the architect who both designed and built the villa with his team of local artisans.
