Unwind in the brand-new private hot tub, take in the surrounding mountain views, and bring your pup along—Mountain Mist is pet-friendly!
Enjoy access to community hiking trails, a new tot lot, tennis and basketball courts year-round, plus a seasonal pool (Memorial Day–Labor Day, passes available) for summer fun.
Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, exploring nearby trails, or simply relaxing in nature, Mountain Mist offers the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and outdoor adventure.

*Septic systems: Our septic systems are fragile, items such as feminine products, paper towels, excess toilet paper, or anything else that does not belong in a toilet can cause a backup in the system. Additional charges will apply in the event you cause a clogged toilet.

*ADDITIONAL CHARGES THAT WILL APPLY IF ISSUES BELOW ARRISE: (please read the rental agreement in full to see all details)

- $500 - smoking inside and/or smoking debris left outside for cleanup.
- $100 - moved/relocated furniture.
- $450 - frozen/locked HVAC unit (caused when the thermostat is lower than 68°F in the summer months and higher than 75°F in the winter months).
-$200 - Trash issues.
-$250 - Hot Tub issues caused by guests
- $90 - each clogged toilet.

Great Place for a long weekend with family.

This is a great cabin with a brewery/restaurant (family and pup friendly) just a few minutes walk through the woods. Loads of hiding trails, historic places, and a lovely quirky town just a short drive away

Great Cabin

My wife and I had a great time here. Quiet neighbor hood but and easy 10 min drive to Berkeley Springs.

Weekend getaway

Perfect weekend getaway with friends and family to destress. Highly recommend!! Place was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. Had everything that we needed. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Nice, Quiet and clean

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing and clean. We wish the WiFi signal could have been a little stronger and the door did lock us out even with the code earlier than expected (thankfully family was still in the house) but otherwise fantastic and as advertised. Also the beds were great.

Great time!

We enjoyed our stay and had great weather for spending a lot of time out on the screened porch. The beds were very comfortable and the environment was so peaceful. Had a great time visiting Berkeley Springs Brewing Company a couple of times--had no idea it was such a short drive from the cabin--and visiting all the fun shops in town.

House in the mountains 🌄

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean, close distance to everything we wanted to do while we stayed. Love that they allowed our dogs. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Overall good experience Suggestions definitely needs an outside fire pit Definitely needs updated Appliances need to be working at all times so guess can use what is stated is available to them example toaster remote control Xbox Definitely needs directions on how to use TV how to plug in use DVR player Xbox player Etc The one evening we decided to enjoy the home and watch a movie nothing more disappointing when you don't know how to use the TV and there's no guidelines no directions and one of the remotes needed batteries. Yes of course the company got my message and promptly got back and brought batteries to the house but that was the next day again as much as I'm paying for a rental $1,300 and some change for 4 nights I certainly expect things to be up to par as listed. My only other suggestion would be some sort of privacy on the one side of the beautiful home simply because of how close the neighbors are. We would certainly stay there again but again I think the value for the cost and condition might lean me to look for something different.

Spacious, great location, definitely woodsy!

Set into the woods, this large cabin home has plenty of room and a nice covered deck area for gathering. It was a bit more rustic than we had expected, but that did not dampen out enjoyment of the space. Lovely process and great communication with the hosts. Thank you!

Great stay for a joint birthday getaway

A friend and I were celebrating joint birthdays with our friend group. The lodge was very enjoyable and we had a great time. The only concern was that the amount of general supplies provided (trash bags, toilet paper, kitchen supplies and spices) were rather low for 8 people, and we were always concerned we'd run out.

Girls getaway

Overall the property was very nice. We were able to cook and enjoy lounging.Our only complaint is that the steps and the walkway entry was very icy. It seems that knowing guests would be arriving, the steps could have been cleared of ice.

Fernwood adventure

We really enjoyed our stay. There was a mix up on our arrival time so the cabin wasn't cleaned but it was okay. The big problem was the sinkhole in the parking area that my van fill in. We had no problem getting a tow truck to winch us out

One of the best days

It was nice. Beautiful, we had a small wedding and it was the best time everything I could imagine. Cabin starter pack could use a little work. The town is easy to navigate. We drove up a mountain and it was breathtaking cacapon state park. Good thing we had a van a car would never make it. Thanks for one of the best memories I will cherish forever!!

Perfect Weekend!

This is an amazing place! We felt as if we were coming home. The property is charming, comfortable, and very peaceful. It was exactly what was needed for our small group. Kids had games available and plastic dishes, etc. Very thoughtful and helpful. The community pool was great. We definitely will book and stay again, hopefully a bit longer. A keeper! Our only comment - wish the downstairs windows had sheer curtains for evening privacy.

Needs a lot of TLC

Linens, towels and pillows were very used, heating system blasted on loud each time it turned on, lights out, broken table, carpets need a good cleaning. Rain gutters need cleaning as rained dripped all over side porch. Beds small and uncomfortable. Is not worth the price we paid and left a day early.

Great stay

Had a great time at this affordable cabin. The place is spacious, clean, and well-kept. Hot tub was hot while the weather was cold. Things were a little dated and worn, but generally in good condition. The manager told me that the owner is planning some updates. Looking forward to seeing those updates when we return. Only real gripe was not being able to have a fire pit outside. The neighborhood rules prohibit this but I'm sure there's a way around it and I made those suggestions to the manager. Really convenient to Berkeley Springs.
