We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this spot to anyone. It was clean, quiet, and really cozy. We would have liked to be able to connect to the internet, but we understood that we were in a remote location and in the end it didn’t really bother us. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for your kind words! We apologize for the issues with the internet connection during your stay. The structure of Laurentius can sometimes interfere with reception, though it generally works better near the windows. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again!

Very cute cabin and kept up well!! my son, and I enjoyed it for the most part!! Internet was kind of weak, but I imagine that’s expected in a remote area!

My family and I are artists. I'm originally from Ohio, and my wife is from Hong Kong. We lived in NYC, Hong Kong, and now Ohio. We also spend a lot of time in Hokkaido, Japan. We love culture, travel and most of all creating things. These cabins on this land is one of our dreams. We've poured our souls into building them from nothing. We really hope you enjoy them and the beautiful forested land, hills and rock formations that surround them.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Our location is a 10 minute drive from OU and uptown Athens, but it feels like you are far out in the wilderness. Quite unusually for Appalachian Ohio, there are all kinds of shopping, restaurants, and other amenities in town and around it. Biking, hiking, parks and cultural happenings are nearby. Live music happens in a variety of venues on an almost nightly basis. Athens has three micro breweries and the brewery Little Fish is almost at the end of our road. The Plains, which is also quite close, has some of the above as well.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Nature, comfort and unique design. This cabin is cozy and comfortable with great nature views, especially from the porch.
