MIHI MITI – A Private, Authentic, and Eco-Friendly Motu in Tikehau
Welcome to Mihi Miti, a peaceful haven located on a private motu in the stunning atoll of Tikehau, in French Polynesia. This unique, preserved, and eco-conscious retreat can host up to 6 guests for an unforgettable getaway immersed in nature.
Make the most of this idyllic setting with our complimentary equipment: kayaks, stand-up paddles, and snorkeling gear to explore the wonders of the lagoon.

Surrounded by a crystal-clear turquoise lagoon and wild motus, Mihi Miti offers a peaceful environment where you can enjoy walking, swimming to nearby islets, or simply relaxing to the rhythm of the ocean.

THE SPACE
The comfortable and eco-friendly house accommodates up to 6 people and includes:
2 bedrooms with queen-size beds
A living room with a convertible sofa bed
A fully equipped kitchen
A bathroom
2 large open terraces:
One facing the beautiful Tikehau lagoon, perfect for watching sunsets
The other overlooking the neighboring motus and natural pools, stretching to the coral reef, ideal for admiring sunrises
The motu is private and exclusively accessible to our guests. You are free to explore the surrounding motus on foot or by swimming. Only the neighboring motu hosts a small, private guesthouse.

GUEST ACCES
After a 55-minute flight from Tahiti, you’ll land in Tikehau, ready for an authentic island experience.
You’ll be welcomed by Hani and Turo, who will take care of your private boat transfer (about 25 minutes).
A stop at the village grocery store can be arranged for any last-minute shopping before heading to the motu.
Once you arrive at Mihi Miti, just relax and enjoy your stay — you’re in paradise.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Mihi Miti is eco-responsible and fully self-sufficient: water and electricity are precious resources. We kindly ask you to be mindful and avoid waste in order to preserve this unique place.
There are no shops on the motu. It’s essential to purchase all your food and necessities in advance, either in Tahiti or at the limited village store in Tikehau.
