Very comfortable (we are a family of four) house, 3 blocks from the beach, very enjoyable backyard. Check-in was smooth and the communication with the host was very easy. Highly recommend.

This rental was so much more than the pictures. Loved sitting and relaxing in the yard. The covered deck is a bonus, was able to sit and enjoy a meal out there.Also loved how nice and open the floor plan was.

We had another wonderful stay at this lovely house. We loved the fresh paint, convenient walkway and outdoor showers. The kitchen is well stocked and it’s so nice to have a meal on the deck in the evening. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

We had a great stay. Host was very responsive anytime we had a question. The unit was very comfortable, clean and everything appears to be recently updated. It met all our needs and would definitely go back.

The house was perfect! It was very clean and everything updated. The outdoor space was so nice and relaxing with the outdoor tables to eat at or sitting around the fire pit! What a great little get away in a quiet neighborhood. Just fyi if you have small children bring a blow up bathtub. We can’t wait to book this house again for next year!

Kris was an excellent host. Responsive and helpful. House was beautiful and in a super convenient location. Kitchen had all the necessities. The entire family asked if we could come back.

Kris was very responsive when inquiring about the property before and during our stay. In my opinion, the heart of the property is the outdoor space. I spent many evenings reading to my daughter in the hammock and eating outside fireside and under the stars. If you want a great location near the bay beach and ocean this is the place. The cherry on top is being able to walk a block and watch sunsets and fishing on the bay. My 6 yr old loved getting books from the little library outside the house and reading to us every night. Thank you Kris!

Overall a very nice stay in Surf City. The place is nicely appropriated, it was very clean, the host is responsive, and the location is great - 1 block walk to the bay and only a couple to the ocean side. The back yard has lots of amenities as does the inside and there’s plenty of space. The only downsides that really can’t be helped were: 1) The street is just 1 block away from the end of central ave, so when driving up and down the island via central you have to go to LBI blvd and do a u-turn. 2) There was a family of 4 staying above us with two very rambunctious toddlers - so little feet and early morning wake ups make for early mornings for all parties upstairs and down.3) LBI in general in late summer has lots of bugs due to how humid it is. Unfortunately it leads to mosquitoes outside and tiny “noseeums” inside - can’t really be helped even with our cleaning and trash minigation, but it was annoying - a zevo plugin might help. Overall a good stay but as I said, the gripes are minimal - just stuff you can’t really help too much.

Great accommodations and close to the beach!

Excellent location! Very close to the bay for a sunset and easily walkable to the beach. Huge bonus to have the beach passes! The open concept was great for cooking for the family and relaxing on a beach break. We will definitely come back to this house! Access to the outdoor space was great for the kids.

This was our 8th summer staying here. We love the hammock, quiet backyard and outdoor shower. My kids love the bunk beds and the open living room/kitchen setup. The owner is super responsive.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great. Short walk to the beach, quiet street, close to shops and restaurants. The backyard was a really nice feature where we enjoyed dinners out on the porch. The open concept living area is very spacious and nice updates throughout.

Amazing stay and host!

Our host was so quick to respond and so accommodating. The location of this place is so low key and perfect for a quiet spot with a great beach. Quick walk, like 3 mins to the beach. Would love to come back!

Great Place

Great place in a quiet neighborhood, easy, close access to the beach and bay, owner was very responsive. Would definitely reserve the space again. Providing beach badges was a nice touch.

We had such a great time! The location was perfect, just a 3 minute walk to the beach. We could come back to the house easily if needed and head right back to the beach. Check-in was super smooth. The door to enter is at the back of the house. Everything is upgraded and well kept. Don’t forget the beach passes when going to the beach! Kris was super responsive and helpful during the stay!

Great for necessities!

Great location & a quiet spot. It’s close to bay & walkable to beach, general store, coffee & ice cream. Cute backyard & porch, very good outdoor shower. Choose this if you love spending the day at the beach & grilling dinner in a useful space & relaxed atmosphere. Not fancy but has everything you need to be comfortable & happy!

Surfcity oasis

Kris, the Property owner Chris with a K was wonderful during the whole process. I booked it about three or four months ago knowing you wanted to go down for Fourth of July weekend like we always do property was very accessible great location quick walk to the beach fully stocked with everything we needed backyard has a beautiful oasis for hanging out Very very clean. Air conditioners were great nice and cool cause it was a hot weekend. Definitely will be visiting again thanks Chris with a K. Lol

I would recommend that the owner provide at least one roll of toilet tissue on the property. Also railing from the porch should be completed. Very dangerous at night and for children. In addition to motion light detector on the porch, there should be a light that stays on when sitting outside in the evening.

A nice beach property for a small family on LBI.

It is a comfortable property with necessary amenities in a very good location on the island close to the beach and with easy access to bay fishing. Perfect I would say for a couple and 2-3 children. The beds were comfortable, the place clean. Comfortable living room with lots of plushy sofas. TV's in every room. The porch away from the street was nice and there was a hammock and fire pit in the yard. Two outdoor showers speeded up the return from the beach. My only real complaint is that the owner needs to reset the sensitivity of the automatic sensor with woman's voice yelling, "emergency, emergency, smoke", every time anything is fried in the kitchen.

Great house to kick off the season

Spent a long weekend with the two youngest grands (3 and 7 yo): jam packed the days with oceanside fun, mini golf (Flamingo Golf and Jenn’s), playgrounds and hiking at old Barney. Took the weekend off from cooking/barbecuing thanks to Boulevard Clams, Panzone’s, Mustache Bill’s, Off the Hook, Barry’s, How You Brewin, and, of course treats from Marvel’s and Skipper Dipper. (No worries though for those opting to cook/barbecue: home has a lovely and large renovated kitchen!) 25th St. pedestrian crossing light made trips to the beach fast and safe. Watched the sun set and met the neighbors at the bay just around the corner. Luckily the weather was magnificent, but if not there’s a sectional couch big enough to hold the whole family! More ++s: newly renovated bathroom with a great shower; roomy outside shower; oversize washer and dryer; huge, comfy backyard hammock

The property was in a great location to walk to the beach and it was very clean. I just have a few critiques of the placeThe listing did say there were no linens or towels but I didn’t expect there would be no floor mats, wash rags, dish towels or oven mitts of any kind but we were able to make due with what we had with us. There was also only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for our 4 day stay so we ended up having to pick up more. The queen bed was extremely hard. Since there were three of us, we all stayed in the one room with the three twin beds. They seemed to be
