THE SPACE



This stunning Asheville mountain retreat blends elevated decor, modern amenities, Scandinavian-inspired design, and breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountain views for a stay that feels both restorative and unforgettable.



Designed with groups of friends and family in mind, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms provide ample space for up to seven guests. The connecting studio suite offers additional privacy for guests who want to stay together while still having the ability to retreat to their own space.



From the moment you arrive, you’ll find comfortable spaces designed for gathering and relaxing. Cozy up in front of the fireplaces or gather around the large table in the open-air breezeway for a memorable Asheville mountain dining experience with your group.

Place was fantastic! The glass wall facing the mountains was such a nice way to relax and enjoy what Asheville has to offer. It was a great way to wake up and wind down after a day of exploring.

The house, views, location and host were excellent. I gave a couple 4stars because there is a lot of road noise when on the deck and the landscaping surrounding the entrance needs some clean up.

The property was excellent. The house was amazing to stay in, the house was clean, and the host was very communicative and excellent to work with. The driveway is difficult for a lowered sports car to get up and down but achievable. Allow our other vehicles from standard sedans to SUVs were able to get in and out easily. 10/10 would recommend this house and host

I can say without a doubt that the experience with this host was the most accommodating, pleasurable, quick to serve, quick to answer, and so nice we were absolutely overwhelmed. The house that we rented was also very accommodating. The beds were absolutely wonderful to sleep in, there was enough towels and washcloths, and other amenities that you need to when you're renting a house. The views from the porch are absolutely gorgeous, some of the surrounding property you could tell was still damaged from the storm of years ago, but that is not a drawback in any way. It was an absolutely excellent stay and I would do it over again the next time we visited Asheville.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The house was equipped and stocked with everything we could possibly need and then some. It was also spotless and beautifully decorated, which really added to the overall experience. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful from booking through checkout, making everything seamless.We loved being able to take advantage of the nearby hiking trails, the views were beautiful and made our weekend feel like a true getaway. The hot tub was perfect after a long hike. I also greatly appreciated how genuinely pet-friendly the home was. So many places simply allow pets, but this one went above and beyond with dog bowls, treats, and even toys, which was such a thoughtful touch.The home would be perfect for a group of friends or just a couple and their dog, like us. We’re so glad we found this place and can’t wait to come back.

❄️ DO I NEED SNOW CHAINS OR 4WD IN THE WINTER? Typically, no. Glass House offers easy year-round access and is not located on a steep mountain road. The home sits just off a standard main road, only about 5 minutes from downtown Weaverville and convenient to Asheville. The gravel driveway has a gentle incline, and snow accumulation is usually limited. Guests with a variety of standard vehicles regularly access the property throughout the winter. As with any Asheville or Blue Ridge Mountain winter trip, we recommend checking local road and weather conditions during significant winter storms.
