Very clean and cozy home. The kitchen was fully equipped. We stayed for my daughter's college graduation. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The location couldn't have been better! It was the perfect home base for enjoying everything Chico has to offer. Every morning we took our dog for walks in Bidwell Park, which was such a special way to start the day, and it was easy to explore downtown, local restaurants, and shops from there as well.The home itself was comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully appointed, providing a relaxing haven to come back to after a day of exploring. It was also very dog-friendly, which made traveling with our pup so much easier.Thank you for your hospitality and for creating such a lovely place to stay. We made some wonderful family memories here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Chico!

This is a nice property in a quiet neighborhood very close to Bidwell Park. The furnishings were all comfortable and everything was very clean inside. The outdoor area was not inviting (half-mowed lawn and no patio or furniture) and there was only 1 washcloth for 5 people. Great communication with very responsive owner.

The stay was very welcoming. It was very spacious for everything we needed. We were in town for a week at the nearby college and it was nice having a very cozy place to come home after a hard day of work. Everything in the listing was spot on you had three bedrooms the bed was super comfy and you even had access to a lovely patio and even a backyard. There was great washers and dryers available for you to use and the kitchen was super adorable. It was well renovated and a super cozy place to stay in a Chico would absolutely stay here whenever I am in Chico again.

What a cute little house! We loved our stay. Kitchen fully stocked with plenty of cutlery, plates, pots, pans etc to make many wonderful meals. We didn't spend much time outside as it rained our entire stay but there is a cute little front patio area to enjoy. We will definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and tidy! Check in was easy. I did book this house because it said it had a king bed, however the king bed was two twin mattresses pushed together (which made sleeping with our young kiddo not possible).

The house was perfect for the two of us and our small dog while we visited old friends in Chico. All the rooms, bathroom, and kitchen looked great and were really clean. The king bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we could need. Our dog enjoyed cruising around the big, fenced back yard.

Overall the house is great. Newly remodeled, good beds, hvac worked well, full kitchen. Quiet neighborhood quite close to town(not walking distance tho) and Bidwell Park very close. Just off the fwy so convenient. One hiccup was related i think to the cleaners. When we arrived kind of late, we found the sheets on two of the beds were not clean. We had to launder them before we could go to bed. The owner should have a chat with the cleaners. Otherwise the house was great and highly recommended. Sorry for the 4 stars but just couldn’t go 5 with dirty bed sheets.

Booked 5 nights here. Arrived after check-in time; there was no key in the lock box. It was Ninety degrees & needed the bathroom. Went to the mall for a/c and toilet. Called the Owner, they said key was on its way- some mix-up. Told them we’d be at the mall; expected a call when key was ready; wasn't gonna drive back in that heat with a chance of not finding the key there yet. Like 30 mins later called back to see if the key was ready, they said “yeah we put it there like 20 minutes ago.” Thanks for letting me know! Kitchen was nice. But house smelled weird. Owner said “occasionally the nearby brewery can create some unusual smells in the evening” but it only smelled inside. Opened windows and ran the fans to flush the funk while we sat out front.Front and back yards both had zero shade cover (or privacy hedges) except for a decent pergola above the porch. For a tree city like Chico, this corner lot must feel like an abandoned child- it really could use some tall greenery. Backyard was a dirt patch enclosed by a chain link fence (fronted by trash cans), and had a tree stump as a centerpiece. Out front, the only plants around the porch chairs were plastic ones. Two local alley cats visited while we sat; that was the highlight of our stay. So if you enjoy couches facing inside walls with decor from Home Goods and an off-center tv - rather than a lovely Chico summer eve out of doors among trees - Stay here! Not me, man…made another res elsewhere and left the next morning.

We understand how frustrating it would have been to arrive and not immediately locate the key. We did make several attempts to communicate with you regarding the key and were available by phone and message both before and during your arrival. The key was placed in the lockbox shortly after we learned there had been a mix-up, and we also called to let you know it was there. We regret that the timing of those communications caused frustration. We also appreciate you sharing your concerns about the property. We wish we had known during your stay that you were unhappy with the home or the outdoor space, as we would have welcomed the opportunity to address any concerns we could. When you contacted us to let us know there had been a family emergency, we understood there was an unexpected circumstance and did not realize you were experiencing issues with the property. We’re glad you enjoyed the kitchen, and we’re sorry the overall experience wasn’t what you had hoped for. We appreciate the feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue working to improve the property and our guest experience.
