Great location, well maintained home with good water and an automatic generator. No worries and a great vacation if you have your own boat it is the best because no need to use the ferry.

Greeted by nurse sharks and sea turtles at our dock.. easiest boat dock to park at in the Abacos.. House is amazing, clean, and functional.. call a ferry and your in town or at hope town inn in less than 2 minutes.. location is really perfect

Property was perfect for our seven person crew… Layout was nice and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and the house had a nice flow to it. Location was exceptional! Charlie was extremely helpful. Our personal boat was late in arriving so we use the water Taxi the first two days.Super easy and very nice. Loved being so close to Hopetown!

What a perfect location for our Abacos getaway! The home was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Loved the beds and the reclining den furniture! Located just across from the Hope Town Inn and Marina with a gorgeous view of the lighthouse. Have your coffee on the screened porch then hop on your boat docked right outside your door for a day of fun. Can’t say enough about this home! The owner and the property manager were communicative and so very helpful during our stay. The online photos do not do it justice. No doubt we would be thrilled to stay here again!

Great Family Vacation

Family Tides was perfect for our group of 7. We woke up our first morning to dolphins and sea turtles swimming under the dock! We had coffee on the porch and saw them most mornings. The beds were very comfortable and the house was immaculate. We kept our rental boat on the dock and found incredible snorkeling while exploring the area. We had an amazing stay!

Fantastic trip at a beautiful, comfortable, convenient and well maintained property. The house caretaker was an excellent communicator, arranged for a taxi at the airport and, using a grocery list we provided before our arrival, provisioned the house for us prior to our arrival. Highly recommended. We definitely got what we paid for!

The Perfect Getaway

Family Tides was perfect for our stay. Each bedroom has its on bath. The views of the lighthouse are spectacular. It is conveniently located close to the marina. Great stay!

This amazing property has everything you could possibly need for your stay plus some. The owner also had a property manager that will help with whatever needs you have. It is secluded but yet not as right across from the Hopetown Marina. Filtered water from refrigerator and sink and all 4 showers have amazing water pressure as well as plenty of hot water. Amazing views and amazing comfort. You will love it here!

Hopetown Gem

We had a wonderful seven nights at Family Tides. Great layout-very quiet-nice view of the Lighthouse. Dock access was very convenient and shuttle service worked smoothly. We will return next year.

A truly wonderful experience. Family Tides offers a beautiful setting right on Hopetown Harbor. The spotless home easily accommodated our family of Ten. John (owner) & Charlie (caretaker) addressed all our needs and were a pleasure to work with. Family Tides is the premier property in Hopetown and we look forward to our next visit.

The perfect vacation stay!

Our stay at Family Tides could not have been better! The house was spotless when we arrived and accommodated us all perfectly during our stay. It was in the best location on the water with easy access to everything surrounding. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vacation place!

Great stay at Family Tides

Stayed for a week with 2 families and had an amazing time. House is spacious, clean, and well appointed. Dock was perfect for 40' center console with 30 amp service and water available on dock. Will definitely stay here again!

Great property in Hope Town for larger family!

Had a great stay in Hope Town with our family of seven! Very nice bedrooms each one with a king size bed and private bath, well equipped common areas, and a beautiful dock for larger boats! Very convenient location as long as you have a boat to get back and forth to town. We enjoyed our stay!

What a perfect spot

We (4 couples) arrived at the home and were immediately greeted by a property manager ( Charles) who gave us the grand tour and spent at least an hour sharing information about the house, the island, other islands and attractions. The house was perfect! What a wonderful vacation spot!!!

Great place

The house is ideal for four couples with each couple having their own bedroom and bathroom. The open floor plan is awesome. John the property manager is very welcoming and helpful.

Incredible home for 4 couples

This house was absolutely incredible. We had four couples staying here, and having the ability to each have a king bed and own private bathroom was a game changer. Perfect location for all things Hope Town and the private dock is also amazing. The owner John, and the property manager Charlie were both very considerate and constantly communicated with us throughout the trip.

This home was built not as a vacation home but as a home to be used by the family and so everything has been done in a high quality. As such, you will not feel that the home has been put together without thought and care...... it may be just a "rental" to some but to the family, it is a part of our hearts.

The view of the famous Hope Town lighthouse right out the front door is priceless and makes for a great morning coffee or evening cocktail view.

The only access to the house is by boat even though the land is all connected, there are no paths to walk to or drive to the main settlement.....this is actually one of the features that many of our guests love about this property because it really creates that "private island" feeling, and yet you are only a 2 minute boat ride away from the settlement where you can find restaurants and stores.
