La Jolla get-away

My husband and 4 girls stayed here for a long weekend when we were attending a family wedding. It was the perfect location for us and we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach each day. Lots of beach chairs and equipment which is nice. Great restaurant options all within walking distance.

We will return

3rd time we stayed here. Love the location over the ice cream shoppe right across from food and shopping. The beach is 3 blocks away. The deck is the best part!

Location

Proximity to beach is great. Located on top of Ice cream shop that can get busy and noisy on street, back of unit is on top of other rental. Lots of stairs. Decent property, not 5 star amenities (uncomfortable couches, broken chef's knife, scratched Teflon pans, saggy mattresses...) Not a good fit for our family with littles because of stairs and trying not to disturb downstairs neighbors with toddler feet. We booked for the location and that did not disappoint.

Perfect location, lovely apartment

We loved it here, the neighbourhood was just what we were hoping for - laid back beach vibe. This spot is handy for shops, restaurants and the beach.

Warmth

Great location to the La Jolla shores beach. Several restaurants outside the front door and a nice large patio. The home is located above scoops ice cream. The convenience is mixed, due to noise between 3:00pm and 10:00pm. And early morning trash pickup. Sleeping was not an issue. Not unbearable but feel it only fair to include in my review. To be expected with outdoor restaurants etc. There are pluses to this property and I would recommend.

Amazing location and place

Perfect getaway for the whole family

We stayed here for just under a week and my only regret is that we didn't stay longer! This place was absolutely perfect in every way. We brought our kids (2 and 1 years old) and my parents with us and each of us loved this place through and through. The place was immaculate, the parking spot is clutch as their is limited parking in La Jolla Shores, the available beach equipment was so nice, and the smell of crepes was a great bonus as well! Can't say enough good things about this rental...book it!

Awesome location by La Jolla shores. 3 minute walk to the beach and right next to the best restaurants. Property was spacious and had great amenities. Overall excellent value and perfect location.

Great location & very clean

This was our first stay in La Jolla and we hope to return to Mi Casa in the near future. The property's location was perfect and the unit was very clean with all the supplies and amenitites we needed for our stay. The outdoor patio was awesome!

Perfect place for us

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mi Casa. The property was in great shape, had everything we needed, and the second bathroom was a nice bonus. The location was perfect, plenty of excellent food choices just steps away, 2 blocks away a gorgeous beach. We couldn't have found a better place for our girls trip.

Wonderful Experience

Ocean Breeze Getaway was a fantastic vacation. What a great location and the apartment was clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the balcony patio watching the people. We were close to everything we love about La Jolla. We will definitely chose this place again in the future.

Perfect family getaway

The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The location can't be beat and it was wonderful to have a parking space and all the beach gear included. The patio was a great place to unwind while taking in the activity on the street and the smell of waffle cones from down below. The host is quick and helpful if anything arises. Would definitely stay here again.

Bright condo in LaJolla Shores

The condo was very clean and spacious. The location is excellent -,adjacent to many sips and restaurants and very close to the beach. Three of us stayed and we had plenty of room. Overall , a very nice property.

Great stay (again)!

My family has thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property over the last few years! It is such a great home in a perfect location. Having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 queen beds is perfect for us and our 2 boys! The home was very clean and equipped with what we needed! We hope to continue to stay here for many years to come. Awesome!!!

This was our 4th time staying at this property and it was awesome as always. The manager and owner are so easy to deal with. We had a problem with the tv and they immediately addressed it. The location is perfect and the deck is a wonderful place to relax. Thank you all again for s perfect stay!

Perfect for our visit

My husband, mother, and I stayed here so the two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our situation. Lovely, comfortable apartment, well appointed with everything we needed. Loved the patio. Leti was very responsive and kind when we messaged her with a few questions. And the location could not be beat! Within 5 minutes of the beach and a wide array of food options. For those who enjoy a slightly longer walk, it's an easy walk to La Jolla Cove and the Birch Aquarium too. Would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely the best in La Jolla

Phenomenal stay. The apartment sits right on top of Scoops ice cream which puts you right in the heart of La Jolla Shores, seconds from dining/shops, and just minutes from the beach. The unit was wonderful. Very comfy. Plenty of space for our family of 5. All the necessary amenities. Comfortable and tastefully decorated. They have all the beach toys, towels, and a wagon to pull your stuff to the beach. Just a fantastic stay and we look forward to the next time!

Wonderful Beach Apartment

We loved our stay at this apartment. It had everything we could ask for -- spacious, comfortable beds, great showers, fully functional kitchen, beautiful big balcony, parking, everything we could want to take to the beach, lots of good restaurants and coffee steps away, and a really easy three-minute walk for a 4-year old to the beach. Staying here was a huge treat for us -- it was just as advertised and then some. Plus, a special shout out to the property manager Chris -- she was completely helpful throughout the process and made sure that our vacation was just perfect! Thank you.
